    After seeing Marker very stable, am so happy to announce that Marker is now officially out of beta.

    Change Log:

    • Hold the Delete or the Shift keys then swipe left/right to start selecting the text.

    For people who don't know what is Marker:

    Marker is a better and easy way to move the cursor and select text on iOS, it's an alternative for Trackpad and a modern alternative for SwipeSelection.

    Move the Cursor

    Simply drag your finger left/right on the keyboard to move the cursor to the position you want (You can choose the method you like from the settings).

    ​

    Selecting Text

    Simply hold the Delete or the Shift keys then swipe left/right to start selecting the text or you can drag your finger left/right on the keyboard to start selecting text. (You can choose the method you like from the settings).

    Features:

    • Blacklisted Keyboards: Choose keyboards that you don't want Marker to work on for example Emoji keyboard.
    • Supports "Slide to Type".
    • Supports SwipeExtenderX and every keyboard tweak that requires swiping.

    Q: Why releasing a new tweak similar to SwipeSelection? why don't I keep working on SwipeSelection?

    SwipeSelection code is so messy, old and when I picked it up I've spent so many hours trying to fix every major issue, but that was annoying and most of the techniques used does not seem to work (it kinda messed up), so I decided to ditch SwipeSelection project and start fresh from scratch with my own techniques and my own code, without any use of the old SwipeSelection techniques nor code.

    Important Note: "Slide to Type" requires to use "From Keyboard Edges" activation method.

    [Discussion] Conflicted about being on iOS 14.3 given fast battery drain on A14 devices

    So the other day I was all excited that I was able to find a 12 pro max on 14.3, and I ended up returning my original 12 pro max on 14.4 to Apple.

    I forgot, though, that there were widespread reports of very noticeable battery drain on 14.3 when compared to other versions, specifically on A14 devices. And I have seen it happen on my device as well.

    I really want the potential to jailbreak in the next few weeks, but I also greatly value having good battery life. So I am conflicted. Any advice?

    [Help] Checkra1n Error -20 on iPad Air 2

    So I've been trying to jailbreak my iPad Air 2 on 14.4 with the latest version of Checkra1n. I was successfully able to jailbreak my 6S on 14.4 with no issues but the iPad keeps throwing the -20 error at me (Timed out waiting for bootstrap upload). I've tried both Ubuntu and Mac but it makes no difference, as well as GUI and CLI modes. Tried changing ports and cables, turning off passcode, turning on aeroplane mode, logging out of iCloud, etc. It gets to the booting stage but doesn't show the checkra1n logo on the iPad, and then reboots itself 2-3 times before showing the error. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Edit: The iPad has never been jailbroken before, so it's a clean start. It's definitely not a tweak causing it.

    [Request] Clean Tweak browser for IOS 14?

    So AppTapps Installer App doesnt actually work since im on IOS 14 and its not supported (or somethings wrong on my phone) And i kinda want a cleaner Tweak/Package manager like Installer. Please reccomend me some that work on IOS 14 (I'm on 14.0)

    [Question] Help with broken filesystem (sh, bash won't run)

    iPhone SE. iOS 10.3.2. Double H3lix Jailbreak

    I made a terrible mistake while trying to install htop. I installed a bunch of ncurses libraries which broke nano. I then installed a newer nano but that's when bash and sh broke and I can't login via ssh anymore. I can't even run Terminal on the device or install a .deb file via Filza because that uses sh as well.

    I tried to uninstall recent packages through Cydia but I could only uninstall nano. The other file was New Curses and trying to uninstall that targetted almost every package I had installed for deletion for some reason.

    This is the error I get when I try to ssh or do anything with sh or bash: (all packages downloaded from apt.bingner.com repo)

    I finally got a hold of the file ncurses_5.7-15_iphoneos-arm.deb and transferred it to the phone via HTML download in Safari but Filza won't let me install it because of the same error.

     

    I'm out of ideas at this point. I made an iMazing backup last month but I doubt it backs up the /usr/lib folder.

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    [Help] WhatsApp Web on iPad 2

    I wanted to know if there were any tweaks or something to get WhatsApp Web on my iPad 2 Running iOS 9.3.5 . I don't need the app, because the chats transferring and reverifying all that is a fuss. Ive tried changing user agent for safari and firefox, it works, but the web.whatsapp.com just keeps loading. It doesn't show the QR code. I've even installed WhatsApp Web Enabler from cydia if that might help. Can anyone suggest me a tweak or anything to get WhatsApp Web? I've tried the app store apps too but they don't display QR code

    Also have the latest version of Watusi 1.3.22 which should be compatible with Whatsapp 2.21.30.
