    iOS 14.6 Problems

    I am on 12 mini with stable iOS 14.6 facing many problems 1. Widgets sometimes disappear from homescreen 2. App crashes in apple music 3. Message app lockdown 4. Keypad typing sound sometimes low sometimes high 5. Reduced battery life as compared to 14.5 6. Occasional UI glitches in first party apps. 7. Bluetooth connectivity issue with AirPods. Sometimes automatically disconnects

    Feels like i am using a beta version. Should I upgrade to iOS 14.7 beta version?

    How's your experience so far ?

    Problem with iOS 15 and Snapchat

    Ok so when I first updated to iOS 15 beta everything was all good nothing wrong until today morning Snapchat was working normally until the app update it lets me sign in but not use the app normally and it crashes every time I open

    Wow is all I Can say. This is a premium handset and feels amazing to use. The camera, features and general feel of the device definitely confirm it's a flagship phone and I think I'll be getting another iPhone a few years down the line.

    As a new iPhone owner, what are your recommended tips, apps or settings for me?

    Also there was a weird glitch I noticed with the keyboard typing noise. Is it just me or does the volume seem to change as you type?

    Can't backup to iCloud because of WhatsApp file size glitch

    I'm experiencing a weird glitch which makes it impossible for me to backup my iPhone to iCloud.

    I got a brand new 128GB iPhone 12 mini running iOS 14.6 and 50GB storage on iCloud. Yet my phone won't backup into iCloud and keeps telling me there is not sufficient space and to upgrade my iCloud. Looking into it i found this: iCloud says a backup of WhatsApp would take up 149GB - but the actual space taken up by WhatsApp on my phone is only 114MB. See the screenshot:

    Is there any way to get my notifications working on the Gmail app again? I'm on a 12 pro on the latest iOS.

    iPhone 8+ IOS 14.6

    Hello guys. I have an iPhone 8+ currently running iOS 14.1. Do you recommend to update my phone to IOS 14.6 ? The only bug that I really hate in 14.1 is calls low volume

    What do you think ? Should I stick with 14.1 or update to 14.6? I'm really afraid of performance issues ...

    Is there a way I can save the storage of my iPhone by compressing large ~20Mb photos I uploaded directly from camera in the past? I stopped this practice and anyway I can compress the older ones without loosing the EXIF (metadata).?

    Reminder app complaint

    So I was trying to make a reminder stick to my Lock Screen so that I always see it because it's very important that I don't forget but after about 30 minutes of trying I have concluded that the Reminders app does not support a lock screen pinning feature. Like the most it will do is show the reminder in the notification list, but it will not be directly on the Lock Screen, which is really frustrating. I cannot believe Apple didn't think of adding this feature to the app, as it seems to me to be the only reason I would ever use it for anything. Instead, I'll just set an alarm or look at my notes. Am I the only one that is upset/having trouble with this??? Thanks

    Messaging app recommendation

    Hi all, I'm doing some pre planning for an event next year with hopes that group events can meet up again.

    One of the side events will be between groups of 8 people, and will basically start as soon as 8 participants are ready.

    I have known other events to add people to a WhatsApp group for their table, but I have concerns about gdpr and giving out their information in the form of a phone number to the other participants.

    Is the a messaging app anyone can think of that people could be added to a group, but no details like email or phone would be shared with others? Or an app that would just notify you that you need to head to your table, similar to those buzzers restaurants used to give out?

    Announce messages/ notifications

    Hi all I'm finally gonna ask the question because its been bugging me for so long. I Can never get announce messages to work whenever my AirPods are connected to any of my devices despite the option being enabled on all of them. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPad Pro 12.9, Apple Watch S6, iPhone X, HomePod bla blah and every device should receive the same text as message forwarding is activated on all devices but is it because my AirPods ( I have Max and Pro ) are connected to every device via audio switching that announce messages doesn't work? There's a new announce notification feature now in iOS 15, which I'm running the beta of, that also doesn't work and yes I've gone into the settings and manually enabled every app that can be announced yet in the fine print below it says only 2nd gen AirPods or some beats headphones are supported so that further confuses me. Lastly regarding the announce messages feature, I remember seeing in the home app that HomePod can also announce messages but it has never done that since I've had it, despite being enabled, does it only announce messages when I use it to send one in the first place? ( i.e are only the replies announced because it dings after I receive a reply) sorry for the convoluted mess 😅

    my iphone12 pro does all kind of extrange things from altering search results on realtime so information im looking for does not appear on screen, being slow or unusable, or having erratic behavior that solves automagically when i start recording screen. i will continue on post, is also this normal?

    How is Apple News App supposed to work?

    I have used Apple News for some time and have a bunch of channels added. I also limited it in settings so that it just shows news from the channels of my choosing. There were previous versions in iOS where I could swear that it would refresh itself when I opened the news app or just pulled down once from the top of the news app. Now every time that I use the app I have to pull down from the top like 10-15 times to get it to the point where it says "you're up to date" and will not pull in any more content. I presume this is not how it is supposed to work… Or am I incorrect? Thanks for the help!

    How to change to a specific wallpaper at a specific time of day?

    On the Apple Watch I can just use the watch face automation but if I do the same thing with wallpaper on the iPhone it doesn't give me an option to chose the image. It seems bugged.

    Why does maps default to walking directions ~80% of the time?

    I use maps for driving directions seriously ~99% of the time. I very very rarely ask it for walking directions, if ever. Yet the app constantly defaults to walking to directions. Under Settings>Maps I have driving selected as my preferred type of travel. Why does this keep happening and how do I stop it?
