[Discussion] False information on the newest checkra1n jailbreak update. Posted: 30 Sep 2020 09:26 PM PDT Why would the checkra1n team state in their newest beta release that certain devices are supported when they are actually not supported. My first gen iPad Pro 9.7" running the 9x chip clearly states in both the informational post and in the update description that my iPad is supported to be jailbroken on iOS 14. See highlights https://imgur.com/a/8pfz910/ But after updating and trying to jailbreak it never gets past the boot state and I get error code -20. The team now states in their github page , see link below, that the newest jailbreak doesn't support my iPad and a couple others running iOS 14. Why would they not change the description and update notes to show this new information? I know I am not the only one with this issue. But why would they want to deceive the community wether intentional or not? Just really annoying as I now have to wait for my devices to actually get support but I won't know when that happens as they probably won't say or can't be trusted anyways. I don't care that my device isn't supported yet I just wish they were honest and updated the information to show that. Would have saved me a lot of trouble today.
