    iPhone hotspot keeps disconnecting

    I think this is a iOS issue, let me know if this is not. All devices are updated with the latest iOS 14.4.

    I have two iPhones connected to the same iCloud account. One has SIM (IPhone 7), and the other (client iPhone) is just a glorified iPod (Amen).

    Whenever I use the hotspot, the connection/hotspot drops whenever I switch off the screen of the client iPhone.

    How do I stop this from happening and keep the client iPhone always connected to the hotspot ?

    iCloud not syncing contacts

    My bfs contacts have apparently been saving on his work account. Would be quite an issue if he stops working there, and he also wants to sync them with his new macbook, so he wants them on the iCloud. For some reason, the pop-up asking if you want to merge contacts does not show up when turning on contacts in the iCloud menu. How can he get this pop-up to show up? He doesn't like using third-party programs to fix this.

    Audio output switching when multiple devices connected

    I connect my iPhone to my bluetooth speaker while getting ready in the morning, if I have to start my car to let it warm up the phone will continually switch itself to my cars stereo and not stay on the speaker. Is there a fix or work around for this problem?

    Turning off Siri “Send message to...” suggestions

    Whenever I swipe down, I see Siri's suggestion to send a message to a certain someone I do not want to message... This seems to only be an Instagram and Snapchat thing, does anyone know how to turn it off? I still want the app suggestions but just not Siri telling me what to do lol

    Trying to Figure Out Storage Needs for New Phone

    Looking to buy a new phone and I was trying to figure out how much storage I'm using on my current phone. Settings > Storage says I'm using 52Gb out of 256Gb. However, below it lists the individual apps and says Music is using 75Gb, Audible using 4Gb, followed by various other apps using less storage. So, how can I be using 52Gb overall when Music alone is using 75?

    I guess I only need to buy a 128Gb new phone but I am still baffled by the above.

    Browse through photos without slide effect

    Hello everyone,

    Does anyone know of a way to browse through your iOS photo library without your pictures moving sideways? I would prefer a static switch, as it would make it easier comparing pictures. It makes no difference to me wether to tap or swipe.

    Any help is much appreciated

    hello! i recently found my old iphone 4 while cleaning up and powered it for for nostalga but i had forgottern the passcode and soon later i got the connect to itunes message i conneced it to itunes and it sayed i had to fully reset my phone which i was fine with as i had a old apple id account wich has my backups but insted of getting rebooted it just stayed on the connect to itunes screen after it reset plz help!

    iPhone 8, iOS 14.4; 3D touch not working

    hi guys, a question.

    My iPhone 8's 3D touch works with app icons (like press firmly and invoke a menu) but not with text selections (like press firmly and move the curser around as I hold and drag my finger around the screen).

    Menu-Accessability-3D touch setting is all on.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

    Issue with unlocking iPhone 11 with watch setting

    I recently upgraded my iPhone 11 to iOS 14.5 and I updated my watch as well. I wanted to use the feature to unlock my phone with my watch however it says a software update is needed. Both devices say they are up to date so what could the issue be?

    Hi, my iphone 7 says it has: "No service" and to have it back I need to update to IOS 14.4, I already did the update and it still says that I need to update. I've seen some videos and some websites and I tried what they said and it works, but then, when I am using the Iphone, the cellular stop working again. I have already tried hard reset and take the SIM card off and rubber it. If you could help me I would really appreciate that, thank you!

    PS: it is not in "not disturb" mode neither in flight mode.

    Wifi calling on iOS14

    Has anyone noticed that private networks seems to cause issues with WiFi calling on iOS14? Every time I come back to my home network it takes a long time to get WiFi calling working. I turned off private network on my home network and it activated instantly.

    Scan QR code from Gallery

    Now that we're at a time in life where QR codes are everything, it's disappointing how we're unable to scan QR codes that we save to our iPhone's gallery. We have to download third-party apps to make this happen.

    Hoping Apple will incorporate this feature to the next iOS updates.

    Cloud Backup issues

    Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I have had trouble getting a straight answer or advice from official Apple sources and I usually have an easier time on Reddit finding solutions.

    My old iphone was recently broken beyond use, I went and bought a new one and transferred SIM card over. I went to set up the iPhone and once I got to the cloud backup part I typed in my iCloud username and password and then got hit with the two factor authentication.

    The only verified Apple device I had was my previous broken phone. With no other path forward I could think of I just set up the new phone manually and hoped I'd be able to use the cloud backup after setup.

    Somehow my cloud is linked to my new phone now (photos and old contacts appeared, but no calendar events, apps, old format settings are there) but I can't figure how to do the full back up. Anyone know this problem or have steps for me?

    Decent email client that wont track my emails, share my data, or keep my account on the cloud?

    I want to use a generic mail server via imap configuration, and have the ability to: 1. Configure sync or "email fetch" for all folders, not only inbox 2. Get alerts on emails not only in inbox, but all folders (or select ones) 3. Alias support

    So far I read multiple reasons why NOT to use apps like Edison (who had severe bugs showing other people mails) or Spark, syncing your emails and account data to their servers. I dont see any reason for that, I just want an email client with advanced features. Any ideas?
