    Why are Files, iCloud, and Safari hogging up the space? Files app has five text files, Safari website data has been cleared. I’m not sure why iCloud is storing files on the iPad. Please help me reclaim the space. iOS 13.5.1 iPad 6th Gen.

    Got a used MacBook Air (I’m really new to Mac) and when I went to go and delete everything in the drive I think I accidentally deleted the SSD as well as the HDD. I tried to do the internet recovery mode but it got stuck on the globe and it shows the error number “-2100F” Anyone have any ideas?

    Long story short, she noticed her apple id had been changed to chinese,

    She went to the apple store, they werent much help, and then told her to call apple support and that "it normally isnt a big deal, just annoying"

    so she left, and as she was walking to her car got a notification from paypal saying theres been a charge on her account. So now she has gone a locked her bank account. So at least that is covered.

    Now shes calling apple support.

    Any tips moving through this process? Especially for not losing Photos, videos, and music? what can we expect?

    How to permanently delete content from the cloud?

    Is there a way to, for example, delete a book from the ibook library?

    (I mean delete permanently, not just hide)

    Similarly for things like videos that were bought from the itunes store and music etc.

    Apple Music not finding songs when asking Siri to play

    For some reason when I am using my AirPods and ask Siri to play something from my library . For example "play Mumford and sons from my music " I get a message that says "Looks like Apple Music can't play that" . But I can manually find it in my music . Same if I ask Siri just through my phone . Anyone have an idea what's going on? My settings seem okay but I did reset my settings and stuff recently . I have an iPhone XS Max , I am running iOS 14 beta 3 but it existed in the previous betas . Seems to of started after my reset

    Where can I buy just the head of the 16-inch Macbook Pro charger?

    So the right metal bit of the charger was bent all the way to the right, but I forced it back to place and it works fine, but I'm worried it's gonna explode at any moment, so am I able to buy the head of the charger without the 96-watt brick? Thanks

    How do you use a Tax ID number when buying a refurb Macbook from Apple?

    I have to buy a Macbook for a customer and I have a computer shop and Tax ID number, but I am not sure how to use it when buying from the Apple Refurbished site.

    I do not want to pay an extra $300 or whatever and then also have to charge the customer sales tax as well. Also, my shop is basically closed at the moment, so I need it delivered to my house, not sure if that will cause a problem.

    Also, this is a very specific Macbook and I have a feeling it will be long gone by the time I figure this out.

    So I lost my phone recently and logged out my iPad to fix my wonky screen time. Now they asked me to verify my phone, which I couldn't do. And then they told me to verify my card. So I did that and used my mom's phone so they could contact me and send me the code. Now they said they'll tell me how long the wait will be on my email...which I can't access! What do I do? Help!

    Finding My MacBook Through Thief’s AppleID

    I recently purchased a MacBook online from the Apple store, but it was stolen from my porch after delivery.

    So I had a lightning bulb idea! Would I be able to give the serial number on my receipt to an Apple employee and have them find the thief's Apple ID if he/she logs in with one? Most people use their email as their Apple ID, so they'd be able to show me the correct ID, right?

    And even though "find my" wasn't activated since it was brand new, shouldn't they be able to lock it for me remotely?

    Help installing Mac OS X 10.5 on iMac G4

    Hi, I recently got an iMac G4 and I want to install 10.5 on it, but I've been getting 2 weird issues. First off, the SuperDrive works but it won't read The Mac OS install discs I made, despite them working on my other old macs, and second, I got 10.4 installed using an external disc drive but when I try to install 10.5 on it I get a kernel panic whenever it tried to boot from the external drive. Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing this? I have an iMac G4 2004 15 inch with a 1.25 ghz G4 and 256 MB of ram btw if anyone's wondering. Thanks.

    How to Create A Desktop Shortcut that Opens a Specific Page in a Specific Browser

    I'm trying to launch Plex in a specific browser via a desktop shortcut. I know that the command line entry is as follows and that I can launch it from a terminal window:

    open -a Opera 'https://app.plex.tv/desktop'

    However, I have no clue how to launch the .sh file as an executable that requires only a double-click (I'm coming from a Windows background).

    I've alternatively looked into AppleScript with a simple line of code:

    do shell script "open -a Opera 'https://app.plex.tv/desktop'"

    However, double-clicking on the file on the desktop simply launches the Script Editor tool.

    What am I missing in either scenario?

    Trying to factory reset my imac g5 but haven't found any solutions. Can anybody help?

    I accidentally erased both my SSD and HDD on my MacBook Air while I was trying to reset it to factory settings. After some trouble I think everything is okay. Does anyone know what happens if I erase my SSD on a Mac? Is there like permanent damage?

    So I got a used Mac and I'm a Windows person so I'm not good with Macs. Anyway so I googled on how to reset it to factory settings and I did the thing where you restart it and hold command + R while it turns on and it takes you to that menu where you can erase your drives. So I erased my both SSD and HDD by accident and I'm pretty sure I was only supposed to erase my HDD because after erasing them I tried to do a clean install of the Mac OS but I got an error (I think because I erased my SSD). So after some researching I did the Internet Recovery thing and after some work it finally worked and my Mac is currently installing a clean version of Mac OS. So now I'm just wondering if all of that messing around and erasing might've caused some damage somehow I'm not sure. I'm just a bit worried so I'm just curious if anything bad might've happened to the hardware or software of the laptop. Thanks in advance!

    How can I upload pictures from an old iOS device onto Google Photos while keeping all the dates, times, etc.? I tried downloading Google Photos on my iOS device but it's not compatible. I guess it's because it's too old.
