    It’s not perfect but here’s what I do when I want an easy drawing/notes angle. You can put anything behind the Magic Keyboard to support the angle, I use my AirPods case with a silicon cover on it.

    Recently got this SATECHI mouse pad to use as a base for the 11" iPad Pro. Helps avoiding annoying scratches on the very delicate silicone material, and it also doubles as a drawing surface when I remove the iPad from the keyboard. Better than just a regular skin? It depends on you!

    How To: Use Magic Keyboard to double-click in Citrix Workspace while using Jump Desktop

    I've been having this issue all morning, and have found requests for an answer going back at least 3 years with no solid solutions. After playing around, finally figured out something that works.

    Here's my current setup.

    1) iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard using Jump Desktop to control my Mac Mini. 2) Mac Mini using Citrix Workspace to connect to my Workspace provider.

    Under this specific situation, I cannot double-click on the magic keyboard's track pad to double-click in Citrix. This has been driving me crazy. I can however double-click by double tapping the screen itself.

    Solution?

    1) Make sure "Tap to click" is enabled in iOS -> Settings -> General -> TrackPad 2) Double "Tap" the TrackPad instead of double-clicking it.

    Must be a way in which Jump or Citrix Workspace interprets the double-click vs. double-tap. Tap is the required method.

    Time tracking app

    I'm tying to find an app that will let me record the time spent on a certain type of activity. I've tried googling for tracking app, log app, but I'm either getting Coronavirus track and trace apps or things for running.

    Can anyone recommend an app?

    We want better productivity apps for our iPad

    Why this is taking so long? we just want to use our iPad as laptops, no need to jump back and forth between the two!! for example word processing app(word+pages) why not all the desktop features currently supported in the ipad version? and many more apps for productivity! lets use our iPad pro like a real professional.

    is this too much to ask for?

    Gutted

    So today was delivery day - yay!!! Here comes my new iPad Pro 11 inch, after 6 weeks of waiting. But it wasn't to be - package arrived, all seemed fine. I open it up and find my magic keyboard and pencil but there is something missing - the iPad.

    Turned the box over and find that someone has cut open the box underneath and retaped it, stealing my custom engraved iPad. Can I ask - does the shipment box also contain a shipment note as this would be extremely concerning if it has gone missing too with my personal information.

    Has anyone else experienced this? I've contacted Apple and DHL to report the incident and start an investigation.

    iPad set-up for grand mother

    I'm setting up an iPad and Aura frame for my grandmother. She's 88yo and the isolation of the last few months has had a really negative effect on her. I hppe that sharing pictures and FaceTiming will help her spirits and to maintain her cognitive ability.

    She has ZERO experience with modern devices. So I'm trying to simplify the iPad interface to the most basic. Does anyone now of resources and recommendations for setting and using an iPad for someone older?

    I would like to send her some laminated instruction sheets on how to perform the most basic functions. I'll also include her new email and password info because she won't be able to remember it.

    Apps I'm setting up are text, photos & facetime along with fillng out all the contacts.

    Why does Control Center blur the entire screen on the iPad?

    Siri doesn't take up the full screen in iPadOS 14. Spotlight also doesn't. The phone calls also don't. So why does Control Center have to blur everything? It looks out of place in the rest of the user interface.

    Astropad Standard - Keyboard?

    I was reading reviews and looking at the differences between astropad standard and studio (https://astropad.com/standard-vs-studio/). I just want to ask and make sure before I purchase anything, but does the standard version really not have keyboard support? I can't just press ctrl-z (undo) or alt (eyedropper)?

    Or is it that I'm just limited in the number of shortcuts I can have in Standard whereas Studio is Unlimited.

    Logitech folio touch intermittently disconnecting

    I'm loving the new Logitech Folio Touch for the 11", but it's suffering from intermittent disconnections where the thing will just stop registering keystrokes or trackpad input for a couple of seconds and then come back to life. It happens across apps, and I've already made sure to update to iOS 13.6 and update Logitech's firmware. And yes I restarted the iPad and even cleaned the smart connector and the pins.

    Is this a common issue? Do I have a bum unit? This product is too new for me to have found any other posts about this.

    Whatsapp for Ipad

    So my phone's display broke recently so I can't access whatsapp and I can't scan the QR code for whatsapp web ( for obvious reasons ) does anyone have a way to log into a whatsapp app/website using password instead?
