- HELP. My battery health capacity is going haywire from 3 month iphone X
- iPhone X Full Black Screen of Death But Fully Functional - Need Repair but Not Warranty, What Do I Do?
Posted: 07 May 2019 03:42 PM PDT Managed to drop my phone in a jacuzzi at the weekend. There's condensation/moisture in both front and rear cameras but I can still take photos (they are a bit misty though) Also the Face ID doesn't work. Is this going to be covered by Apple care or is there a trick to get moisture out of the cameras to see if they go back to normal without me having to go to the Genius Bar? All help appreciated. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
HELP. My battery health capacity is going haywire from 3 month iphone X Posted: 07 May 2019 07:11 AM PDT Yes, this is another battery health capacity post, although i wanted to ask the community how to approach this. Ive gotten the iphone X for only a few days past 3 months (jan 27, 2019) and i monitor health capacity every week. Since the moment ive gotten it i found it weird to get max 5.5 hours screen time (average 5 hours) without gaming or movies from a new iphone x?? I definitely expected more. From april 17 to today, the health capacity has been going down from 100 to 97, 95, 94 and now 93. It goes down weekly almost. And if you do the math, it will go down to 80% before it reaches a year. Ive been asking for support from apple online to which they have helped with diagnosing and analysing any problems with my phone, and of course theyd say NOTHING is wrong with it; thus, im running out of options. So with this ridiculously decling battery / phone, do any of you know how to go about with this? Or am i just obsessed / OC with this percentage? Im all ears. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 May 2019 04:19 PM PDT I was on my iphone X 256 GB Space Grey at a restaurant, and I was about to change the playlist, my screen was just black. I panic and force reset it about 10 times that day. The phone still works, vibrations, sounds, music, touch screen, face ID, but the screen is just black. The phone has no indication of being dropped or having water damage. This was completely not my fault and probably the works of the iPhone X glitching. I went to the apple store and they told me I don't have Apple Care nor my warranty is already over. What do I do? I do not have $365 CAD (screen repair) for a long time due to financial issues as a teenager. I asked him if I can get it for free because I did not cause this issue (Apple Genius Support) but he said sorry, you will have to the pay the fee due to not having warranty any longer. I have already tried to fix it with Apple's force reset over 15 times and tried it with the charger, and making the battery go dead with the flashlight and trying to charge it to see if it will come back. Nothing works. Please help! Looking for a way to get it fixed for free due to financial problems. [link] [comments] |
