Just got an iPhone 13 and I'm trying to make the switch over from my Samsung. The only thing I want to keep are my messages/SMS. So I tried using Move to iOS and once finished I had a look inside the Messages app and I see that I'm pretty much holding monologues in all of my "conversations". None of the received messages were transferred at all. Is there a known fix or am I forced to pay for one of those third-party apps? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
| iphone 13 Pro Max battery dies quickly Posted: 17 Jun 2022 11:53 AM PDT I know i use my phone a lot through out the day surfing the web, texting my girlfriend, scrolling social media… but it seems to drain battery pretty decent. I just swear my iphone 11 pro max did not die as quickly. I keep background app refresh off. I usually keep my brightness low. I mostly charge to at least 80% at night, sometimes 90% (because it takes forever after 80%) By 3pm i'm at 27-35%. Does this just sound like normal use? [link] [comments] |

| How to set Do Not Disturb "Turn off" Time Posted: 17 Jun 2022 02:21 PM PDT I don't want to use a schedule for Do Not Disturb, but occasionally like to use the feature with the "Until Tomorrow Morning" setting. This automatically turns of Do Not Disturb at 7 for me. However, I would like the change the time at which the feature turns off. Can anyone help me with this? | Random apps downloading without permission? Posted: 17 Jun 2022 05:20 PM PDT So today I was using my iPhone 11, as normal, and then I got like 3 notifications to download apps now or later. I didn't even get the option to cancel, just download now or later on Wi-Fi. I haven't even been on the App Store today any there was only like one app I had downloaded and deleted (the Disney experience one) but the other ones I had never heard of and just downloaded. I don't share my iCloud with anyone. I used to share and account with my mom but then when I got this phone a year or so ago I removed all my devices and started my new account. Apps on different screens and even had entire folders/sections deleted and the apps that were inside just put on the page. How did this happen? First time it says it failed to pair after discovering it and thereafter it says it already is paired even though you can't find it in your Find my. I have been on tech support but to no avail. Do I understand it correctly that it does not necessarily mean that the phone is taking pictures with the camera? But what could cause this? Thank you. Upd. I need to clarify a bit. My model does not have face ID. The green dot appeared when I just picked my phone up, and the screen automatically turned on. | Need Guide For 13 Pro Max Slow Charging | First Time iPhone User Posted: 17 Jun 2022 10:52 AM PDT I am a First-time iPhone user Recently bought 13 pro max and I am extremely happy with my choice. it's been roughly 2 months and I encounter a strange behavior I am not sure if it's okay or not. I am using an apple official 20W Apple adapter with the original cable from the box. I set my phone on charging at 20% and after one hour it was on 39%. I suspected that something was wrong, I plugged out the charger and plugged in again and in around 15 mins it's charged from 39% to 55%. it started fast charging suddenly, and before it was slow charging. I encounter this issue 3-4 times when using all official accessories, phone charges extremely slowly but plugging the cable again or turning on/off the adapter starts fast charging. Maybe I am missing some basic points due to newbie in the IOS space. [link] [comments] |

First of all from the first day you buy it you will start seeing all your fingerprints on the case and it will look very ugly. Secondly after just 1-2 weeks the color of the case will start to fade away on some spots and it will have a very annoying sticky feeling on these spots Third and most importantly the silicone,after 3-4 months of use,will start to come off in the bottom corners and eventually as days go by it will completely come off and the case will be no longer usable Finally for the price of 40$ the silicone case is a joke and is not as durable as other 40$ cases like the ones from dbrand for example. If you really want an Apple case just buy the black leather case it is way better,it has a nice feeling to it,no fingerprints,and it won't get ruined that quickly. [link] [comments] |

To start off with it randomly won't play sounds, refuses to auto connect to any blue tooth device, stutters on all videos and apps and the whole time it's got "more" signal and 5g at that and yet my 7 outperforms this in every way aside from the camera? Is anyone else completely disappointed with these phones? Did I get a bad egg or somethin? I mean it honestly doesn't make sense to me for an older, outdated and smaller phone to just do everything quicker and easier. [link] [comments] |
