    [Discussion] Does Anybody Notice How iOS Betas Drain Apple Watch Battery?

    When running iOS beta son my iPhone XS Max, my Apple Watch Series 4 battery seems to drain more (watch runs public WatchOS firmwares). Does anybody else notice this behavior, and what you did to fix it?

    [Discussion] Is the latest beta fixing signal problems on XR/XS/XS Max?

    I used to get terrible signal inside my house (3g usually) on my XR compared to my old 6s which would get 2 bars LTE. Now, the 6S and my XR both get good LTE signal starting with the latest beta. I heard that the Intel modems were faulty in this generation of iPhones, maybe the update increased cellular transmission power?

    Hi all,

    First time posting here. I have major issue with my iPhone XS on firmware 12.2 beta 2. I was connected to my apple car play (facetime) and i click to check my messages which caused my phone to lag like crazy. I had a late response for like 15 seconds and eventually stop. As soon I stop facetiming, my phone would not let me open any apps, nor open any of my notifications, I can't even make a phone call or opens app through siri (it does function when i say "hey siri" but does not perform my call out) My incoming calls don't show up in my screen, I can only listen to the ringer in the background. I tried powering off my phone with the power + volume button, but nothing. I even tried to opens apps through my apple car play and doesn't even display none of the apps.

    I'm thinking of downgrading back to iOS12.1, but i need help. Hoping itunes let me restore.

    Has anyone come across this issue?

    [BUG] CarPlay Unstable

    Has anyone else been experiencing pretty unreliable CarPlay since beta 2?

    I was hoping beta 3 would solve whatever is causing CarPlay to suck. It has not unfortunately.

    What Ive experienced (Ive reported this via Feedback app several times)

    1. Random CarPlay Crash (App restarts and connects to headunit)
    2. Audio stutter or loss of quality (almost robotic)
    3. Audio loss all together (Apple Music continue to show timer running)
    4. CarPlay freezes and does not restart (fix by plugging phone in/out)
    5. Audio slows down seemingly as if the processor is bogged down regardless if streaming or playing Downloded music New to Beta3

    Pretty much all of the issue I've seen so far can be temporarily fixed by unplugging the phone and plugging it back in.

    I haven't experienced this in any other iOS update prior to Beta 2. My head unit (Sony XAV-ax100) is running it's latest update and has never given me issues. The cable used is the same as it has been and the phone is the same.

    Only factor that has changed is iOS versions.

    I rely on CarPlay a lot and this past weekend I went on a short road trip which really annoyed me. Every few minutes on a 4 hour drive CarPlay would bug out.

    [Discussion] Is anyone else having severe issues with charging? My iPhone will not charge past 2%

    As per title, my iPhone will only charge to 2% and instantly dies if I wake the screen. I'm using an iPhone X that has 92% of its original capacity remaining and I have tried a several different Apple and Anker cables and plugs. I was experiencing similar (much less severe) issues with beta 2, however beta 3 has rendered my iPhone completely unusable.

    Anyone have any similar experiences with this issue?

    [Bugs] 12.2 beta 3 - AppleTV Control Center remote still does not control YouTube or YouTube TV apps properly

    I first noticed this in the last beta, the AppleTV remote app from the App Store works fine with YouTube and YouTube TV apps on the AppleTV, but the remote from the control center does not control those particular apps properly. You can't navigate around in the menus. Something Google is doing with their AppleTV apps is not working properly with the new Control Center remote for some reason. Hopefully this will be corrected before final release because it's really annoying currently.
