| Posted: 04 Oct 2018 11:31 PM PDT I have an iPhone 8 for the past few months now. In that time I've had trouble with WiFi and mobile data. I would be browsing on reddit, YouTube, etc and it would just hang. I get the loading animation in the top left. If I disable and WiFi the problem continues. If I disable mobile data and turn back on WiFi it still hangs. I have to put the phone into airplane mode for a second and back out. Usually fixes my problem. The odd time it will need a restart. This happens on multiple WiFi connections. I've reset my sim provider settings. I reset my phone. I reset my phone and didn't restore from iCloud. All these steps were suggested by apple phone support. I don't live anywhere near an apple store to bring it in. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be great! Thanks. Edit: just to add I'm on iOS 12 now. Had tried the betas thinking it was an iOS 11 problem and the issue continued. Left the beta and returned to iOS 11 and waited for official release of iOS 12. Posted: 04 Oct 2018 03:07 PM PDT I texted someone saying "i'll leave in like 10" and 6 minutes later my phone gave me a messages notification that had a header of "replied to _____" and it said "i'm on my way.". Posted: 04 Oct 2018 05:33 PM PDT I updated my phone the other day and just now all of a sudden I can't make calls anymore it's like every 5th try after I close out of the phone app or turn my phone off and on then the call finally goes through and then once it goes through maybe 10 minutes the call goes out and I can't hear the other person anymore but it doesn't ex out of the call the timer is still running so I have to hang up and try again. Is this some sort of glitch with the new update or what? Is anyone else experiencing call problems like this? How can I fix this it's so annoying ugh! [link] [comments]  |

| Dropped my SE and it won't turn on Posted: 04 Oct 2018 08:43 AM PDT I dropped my iPhone SE (was cracked to begin with) and the screen separated into two parts. It was black but the backlight worked. Not a huge issue, figured it just needed a new screen. I planned to reconnect the screen to see if maybe reseating the cables would help, so I tried a hard shutdown, until I realized the home button cable snapped as well. I spammed the power button and it vibrated, indicating the power button still worked. I opened it up, disconnected the battery, reseated the cables, reconnected battery, and tried to power on... but it won't. No lights on the screen, computer won't recognize it. I unplugged the battery and plugged it in again, but it didn't work. The phone appears to be completely dead now, and I have no idea why. Can anybody help? [link] [comments]  |

Tried googling but my question is too specific or (more likely) I don't know how to ask it right lol. To provide context, I like to listen to podcasts or talk radio on safari or chrome on my phone (like dem now, or npr, etc.) but I also like to listen to my music softly in the background while the radio plays. It doesn't matter where the music comes from, Spotify, pandora, etc. but I just need an app that won't immediatley turn off when I start playing talk radio. Does anyone know how I can do this?
