    Updating using FutureRestore will break Face ID, what should we do? Update to iOS 12.0 once iOS 12.1 releases or there is a chance that the Face ID problem gets fixed in the meantime?

    EDIT : Don't know why this got downvoted, it's an important question that hasn't really been answered considering there are 70k jailbroken iPhone X's...

    [Release] A Useless Package Manager (AUPM) - Beta 7

    Hey /r/jailbreak! We skipped a couple betas (from 3 to 7) but I've made some cool improvements that I thought y'all should know about.

    To preface this whole introduction: this is a beta release and is no means a final product. I'd appreciate any and all feedback you guys can provide in order to help me out with bugs and other things (as I currently don't have a jailbroken iOS 11 device).

    Here is everything that has changed from beta 4 to beta 7

    - Fixed a crash when installing/removing packages

    - Properly install packages from repos that are added in AUPM (previously if a repo was added in AUPM but not in Cydia, it would not install)

    - Properly display whether or not a package is installed in the depiction page

    - AUPM will no longer overwrite your saved repos upon upgrading

    - AUPM should now properly install packages on iOS 11

    - The search bar on iPhone X should finally be fixed and display properly

    - Packages with special characters in their names (like ö, ä, or any other character that isn't in the English alphabet) should now be displayed properly

    - In the search tab, the results will now display which repo they are from (in case you want to install something from BigBoss vs. My Repo)

    - Upon installation/upgrade of a package, AUPM will now ask if you want to respring (if the package contains a tweak) or run uicache (if the package contains an app)

    If you are experiencing crashing when opening the app and have access to a Mac or know how to navigate the system log, please email me, I'm trying to fix a nasty bug that I can't reproduce myself.

    You can download it by adding my repo to Cydia https://xtm3x.github.io/repo and downloading the AUPM (BETA) package and launching AUPM from the home screen (if it doesn't show up, run uicache). There isn't an icon just yet (and the UI is also pretty lacking) but I'm working on functionality before getting to any UI prettiness.

    TL;DR: Someone announced another Cydia alternative but this time there's actually something to test. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback/suggestions on AUPM (as it is probably very buggy, especially on iOS 11). Repo is https://xtm3x.github.io/repo. You can follow me on Twitter for updates @xTM3x.

    [Question] Help. Phone freezing forcing reboot.

    Like the title says. Multiple times a day my phone freezes at any moment forcing me to reboot and then re jailbreak. What could be the problem?

    During my six years of using iOS, there is one thing I have never been able to adapt to…

    When typing in landscape mode, iOS reverses the globe and 123 keys. Switching to another language when intending to hit the 123 key is infuriating af.

    Is there any way to fix this shit?

    [Discussion] futurerestore iPhone SE 11.3.1 with 12.0 baseband - worked!!!

    So, I decided to update my SE from 10.3.3 to 11.3.1 and was going to use the 11.4.1 baseband, but between decisions whether to use a detailed command for futurerestore or use --latest-baseband and -i option pointing to 11.4.1 ipsw, I decided to use this last combination of options. When it started to restore I checked the files it had extracted and didn't find any entry about 11.4.1 on the BuildManifest, so I though... now I'm screwed!!! so I let it go until the end and it ended successfully, it rebooted and got through the activation without any problem. Connected to computer and checked the baseband installed and it says 7.10.00, which is the one from 12.0!!!

    In the bad luck, all went well!

    EDIT: Don't know if it is important or not, but mine is a n69ap

    EDIT2: it worked fine because the SEP is from 11.4.1, only the baseband is from 12.0. Thanks for the clarification /u/wb0815

    Hi guys! Is there a tweak which disable wifi when not connected? For example if i left my home and mobile data is using That wifi still have to turn off manuell by myself. Is there a way that it turn off by it self when when left connected wifi networks?

    [Question] How to make Colorbanners (or Palette) pick up light colors in mainly dark colored icons?

    I have Lotus Dark on my iPhone 6s Plus 11.3.1 together with colorbanners. The problem is that since the icons all have dark borders, colorbanners gives them all the same dark color banner. I would like the banners to be the color of the lighter color on the app icon. So for like snapchat, it would pick up the yellow color in the icon instead of the dark border region color.

    [Question] What can I do with my jailbroken iOS 8.1.2 iPhone 5S?

    Title says it all, really starting to feel the burn from many popular apps dropping iOS 8 support. I saw a few posts detailing the potential for kloader64, and the possibility of coolbooter becoming a reality on 64-bit devices. I did some searching and found a few posts here and there, but I was unable to find anything that provided a comprehensive breakdown of what is currently possible with iOS 8 in relation to kloader64 on A7 devices. Would be a dream to have that dual boot capacity.

    In any case, are there any widely supported solutions for legacy app support on iOS 8? I've seen a few posts about somehow running apps with a newer version of iOS inside of the older version of iOS (possibly related to kloader?) but I can't remember what it was called and my google-fu has failed me.
