    [Bugs] Unable to forward text messages on iOS 12.1

    No code appears. Upon searching Google, no one else has this issue with iOS 12. But someone in the sub did mention it 3 months ago with 12.. the frustrating thing is that it was working with 12 on my iPhone X, but has stopped working since upgrading to my XS. I'm thinking Apple may need to "reset" my Apple ID / iCloud.. does anyone have experience with that? I was told that if Apple reset my Apple ID and iCloud "You won't be able to use that email ever again." by an Apple rep.

    EDIT: spoke with a senior adviser who screen recorded and took screenshots to send to engineers, said a fix is coming eventually in an update, he was unsure if I should expect fix in GM or Beta channel. He wasn't sure what caused it as it was the first time he personally has worked with this issue, though he stated he was aware that others had experienced it since iOS 12. In my opinion what caused it was "starting fresh" on an XS with 12. It had been working fine on my X when I went from 11 > 12 and only stopped working after attempting to forward using a non-upgraded, 12 device.

    EDIT 2: The adviser suggested that this is a widespread issue but that people aren't noticing because "Most people iMessage from their iPad, not SMS. It's possible that you are one of only few that have noticed this issue."

    [Bug] iPhone 7 on iOS 12.1 b2 says "Searching" and has a buggy Performance (like a Virus or something)

    Hey guys, 2 Months ago i had the same issue and now i had it again (yay 😒)

    The Bug (or harder: Death for your iPhone) starts with the "Searching" phrase in Status Bar, a few seconds after that, the performance get very buggy and unusable at some point. For example, when i want to switch Mobile Data from CC, the phone freezes for 20 Seconds, same with Settings or Siri Shortcuts. Same deal with just open Settings App or any SIM related App like iMessage. Anyways 2 months ago (iOS 12 Beta x) i found a weird solution. After 30 Resets, DFU Resets etc i was trying a weird thing, i don't use my iCloud Account to login, i just skipped this part of Setup. After Setup my phone was back normal (OK wow) so i decided to wipe my phone again and check if it works with another Apple ID. So i logged in with my friends Apple ID and... it WORKED! After that i wipe my phone once again and tried it again with my Apple ID and the bug was back...

    So after a final wipe, i just skipped the iCloud/Apple ID part and logged in my Apple ID in Settings and my phone was back to normal WITH my Apple ID. Its just like my Apple ID has a kind of "Virus" in it 🤨. And yep i know there are no Viruses on iOS.

    So now I'm sitting here, save my photos from my phone and wipe it again 😒

    [BUG] not sure if this is a bug or a feature but on iOS 12.1 DB2 on my XS Max the flashlight and camera toggle on the lock screen make an audible mechanical noise from the Taptic Engine. Anyone else experience this. I did not have this when I was running iOS 12 when I first got the phone.

    I noticed on 12.1 b1 even the names of senders (for example on Whatsapp) wouldn't show until you looked at your phone and unlocked via Face ID.

    It would just say: "2 Notifications" and so on, until you unlock. Now on beta 2, it again shows the name of the senders even when its locked (and then the full preview when you unlock)

    Or is it just me?

    [Bug] Notification when receiving BitMoji doesn’t show preview

    Currently on iOS 12 GM

    On iOS 11, it would show a preview just if you would recieve an image

    Now it's just blank and I have to open up messages to view it

    Anyone else have this problem?

    Nothing else including Messages is a choice anymore when I try to share a screenshot or a photo I just took in Camera. I have to switch to messages and send it using the photos icon now.

    [Bug] no more 4G/LTE

    Since yesterday with iOS 12.1 beta2 my iPhone XS has no more 4G/LTE with t-mobile esim, just 3G does work!

    Anybody else having this issue?

    [Question] Should I keep my XS Max on iOS 12 or try to restore it from a backup on 12 b2?

    I'm having trouble even restoring it to my old backup on my 8 Plus since it requires 12.1.

    Should I just leave my Max on 12 and re set up my phone (which I don't mind) or would it be detrimental to my phone if I had the beta software installed on it?
