- [Question] Bell Canada activated the eSIM on my iPhone XS Max with iOS 12.1 beta
- [Discussion] Is this the year that Apple will let us download updates over cellular? Long story short, I got a replacement iPhone 8 about a week ago, it wouldn’t let me install the update until just now. Does anyone know a specific reason for this?

[Question] Bell Canada activated the eSIM on my iPhone XS Max with iOS 12.1 beta Posted: 18 Oct 2018 10:23 AM PDT I activated a prepaid service with Bell, and when the rep asked for a Bell SIM card number, I gave them the EID of my iPhone and IMEI. After the rep submitted the info, Bell generated a IMSI number and the activation was reported as complete on their end. Problem is, my iPhone didn't get the SM-DP+ and the Activation Code required to provision my phone. Let me know, and feel free to send me a DM! [link] [comments]

[BUG] iOS 12.1 B4 - Shutdown and Reboot issue? XS Max Posted: 18 Oct 2018 06:15 AM PDT Installed 12.1 beta 4 and seem to have the phone turn off when the battery is around 64% and then indicate the battery is completely drained requiring me to plug into into a charger and wait for it to charge up and reboot. Once rebooted - battery always seems to indicate 29% and then rapidly charge back to the 68% mark. This has occurred 4 times already. Reported to apple as well. Anyone experiencing this issue? [Discussion] 12.1 beta 4 performance Posted: 18 Oct 2018 11:51 AM PDT I'm on the public beta and I must say performance wise it's pretty bad.. alot of stutters and animation lag. Running on iPhone XS. Anyone else noticing this? [link] [comments]
[BUG] iPhone Xs Max low brightness setting = lower performance/stuttering in apps Posted: 17 Oct 2018 02:31 PM PDT Im on 12.0.1 can somebody try this on the latest beta? I just realized when im in certain apps. Google maps or phoenix 2 for example, the phone seems to be running in a low power mode when using a low brightness setting on the phone. Try being in google maps with a high brightness settings and moving around. Everythings smooth. Now try turning down your brightness level and you'll see stuttering. [link] [comments]
[BUG] iPad Pro 12” Apple Keyboard Stops working Posted: 17 Oct 2018 07:08 PM PDT Since updating to iOS 12.1 betas 3 and 4 my Apple Keyboard Case on my iPad Pro 12" (original) is either useable or unuseable. The only way to fix it is to turn on airplane mode, turn off wifi and Bluetooth and then turn them back on. Method: 1) Wake ipad 2) Does connected Apple Keyboard Case work? If yes, carry on, if no go to 3 3) If the keyboard doesn't work turn on airplane mode and then turn off wifi and Bluetooth 4) Wait a few seconds and then turn airplane mode off and turn on (if necessary Wifi and Bluetooth) 5) Try the keyboard again and NOTE it now works Expected Wifi and Bluetooth shouldn't effect the useability of the Apple Keyboard Case [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Oct 2018 09:16 PM PDT I text in group chats in iMessages everyday & seemed to work fine in beta 3 but the recent beta seems to make iMessages a bit more problematic. Has anyone else experienced this? iPhone XS ios 12.1 B4 [link] [comments]
