    Today I found a killer deal. 4 month old series 3 42mm gps/lte. I was excited to go pick it up since my first one reached its end of life. Got there really cool guy offered to stay with me until I paired it. Told him I'd be able to get him the money today instead of end of week. Got there it was in brand new condition he offered to hold the box for me while it paired. Everything worked. Grabbed the stuff from him went to shake his hand and boom the watch slips from my hand and falls flat on the pavement. I picked it up and its completely shattered. The guy looks at me with a look of absolute shock and tells me wow dude I am so sorry. I look at the watch and it's a feeling I will never forget. Totaled. Unfixable. Couple hundred dollar staring me in the face. I told him it must not be my day but thank you for sticking around. He left and I went back to my car and sat there. Money saved. Money gone. Watch shattered.

    I know you guys might not care but I needed to vent because I was heartbroken.

    EDIT: Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I won't be getting a watch anytime soon so enjoy them. Hopefully will join the club again sometime soon.

    Everyone I talk to and everywhere I read or listen, people still knock the Series 0 like it is a piece of trash. I have had mine for a long time and it still is working great! It is slow, but it does everything I need it to. However, the concerns about battery life are starting to become reality, as it usually dies just after dinnertime.

    Is ti worth it to upgrade to the Series 2 or 3 at this point?

    I bought my apple watch series 3 a year ago - Having used it pretty much every day for a year i noticed that many of the features wouldn't work because of my wrist tattoos

    I called apple about this and to my surprise they said just take it back to the apple store and we will refund you. - a note - they didn't check any of this in store i had my sleeves down and they didn't even look at the condition of the watch as it was in box!

    They said this was due to them mis-selling the watch to me as there is no warning about this lack of functionality and incompatibility with tattoos.

    That was £400 back in the account. Just saying..... Maybe that could go towards a series 4 Or a nicer automatic watch

    Can't dismiss text messages from my Apple Watch.

    I got an XS Max yesterday and setup my Apple Watch as a new watch. Ever since then, I can't dismiss a text message after reading it from the notification center. I press on the text message, read it, scroll down until dismiss appears, press dismiss and the message stays. I have unpaired and repaired my watch and also restarted both my phone and watch.

    Does anyone know what is going on?

    Just got my S4 today, after 2 years of contemplating on getting the AppleWatch. Slightly disappointed that my device has this issue, but it’s still a fantastic piece of tech!!

    I shoot (photograph and film) weddings, being able to quickly check the next few things on the schedule directly from the watch face with only a twist of the crown was a killer feature for me.

    I wish apple would allow us to selectively enable it

    EDIT: turns out with a little bit of customisation the Siri watch face can used to solve exactly my use case!!!

    I hope apple brings time travel back properly but for now, this is good!!!

    Digital crown click feeling springy?

    Got my S3 a week ago, been using it normally, no water etc. Today I noticed that if I click the digital crown with a single finger (no other fingers supporting the watch from the other side), it feels different, kind of "springy": after I push it in fully, or release it out fully, I can almost feel a vibration. Has it happened to anyone else? Any fixes?

    It's great for not having to get up to check the time. My S0 has always done this, and every time, so I always assumed it's a feature.

    Whats going on with apple watch stock?

    Hey. I'm lookig into buying an AW4 Nike+, but this year shipping times don't seem to get shorter. Even the „normal" AW sport has a shipping date of late november! Is the demand really THAT high that apple can't catch up? Seems a bit strange to me since the watch has been out for over a month now. Do you think stock will start to get better? Thanks in advance!     I haven't been able to get this feature to work consistently. I tried the recommended solution to speak immediately. Nothing. Reset the device. It worked for a few days and then stopped. Friends are having the same issue. I'm really disappointed with this. It is a beta feature at best. Is anyone seeing this work reliably?
