[Question] Advice for an iPad 2 running 7.1.2 + SHSH backup. Posted: 25 Mar 2018 09:48 PM PDT Hi all, I have an iPad 2 on iOS 7.1.2 that is becoming painful to use. Webpages constantly crash and are super slow. The whole thing in general is just frustrating to use. Would it be better to upgrade to iOS 9 (where the web browser is supposed to be more optimised) or downgrade to iOS 6 (where I know it was faster due to it being more lightweight and is still being signed by Apple)? Or is iOS 7 as good as it gets for the iPad 2. It's not my main device and will spend most of its time just doing web browsing or using the mail app. Also is there a way to backup my SHSH blobs for 7.1.2? [Question] Haven’t Jailbroken since iOS 6, are there apps that fix these annoyances? Posted: 25 Mar 2018 05:52 PM PDT Used to jailbreak my phone for functionality, but I haven't felt the need to in recent years. There are some annoyances though that I'm curious if tweaks exist to fix: Hide battery alerts. I can see what battery % I'm down to in the top bar, don't need a pop up for this. If memory serves, there was a tweak that existed for this before. I know that my iPhone or iCloud storage is almost full, also don't need a pop up for this. Any tweaks that hide these alerts? I much preferred the old wi-fi and Bluetooth toggle button behaviors where the control center buttons would completely turn off their respective toggles, not just disconnect from the current pairing. Is it possible to regain the old functionality? I'm sure there are many apps for this, but what's the best/most stable one for changing iMessage bubble/background colors? I think there was one I'd use that would also change the menu colors for many of the default iOS apps as well. It's annoying how photos are automatically darkened when set as wallpapers. Any tweaks that revert this back to normal? Best dark mode replacement since Apple's smart invert is wildly inconsistent? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/synchronicityIII [link] [comments]

[Help] iPhone 6 - 10.2.1 stuck on apple logo Posted: 25 Mar 2018 11:26 PM PDT So, I was updating packages on cydia and then out of a sudden my screen goes black, 1 minute later I see my springboard with just one icon, facebook and youtube without an icon, I restarted the phone but now I'm stuck at the apple logo.
