Made an unmodified macOS wallpapers site Posted: 31 Oct 2021 05:13 AM PDT https://wallpapers.macstudio.pro Just wanted to share a site I've been working on for the last couple days. All Wallpapers were extracted from their respective operating system, completely unmodified. [link] [comments]

Getting a Macbook Air M1. Will it come with Monterey out of the box? Posted: 01 Nov 2021 12:42 AM PDT I'm a producer and musician about to upgrade to macos finally from windows. I have a list of plugins and Vsts i want to install once I get one but most of them aren't even compatible with Catalina let alone Monterey. Is there a workaround for this issue? If not, what can i do to make sure that the plugins work? Any help would be appreciated, thanks jn advance! :) [link] [comments]
Trackpad issue since upgrading to Monterey Posted: 31 Oct 2021 05:27 PM PDT So I've been having this very annoying issue in Monterey that happens randomly when I tap to click. Sometimes the occurrence is not registered and the click is 'wasted', like clicking in vain. This is so frustrating and happens so often that I'm really considering going back to BigSur because of it (even though I'm loving Monterey so far, except for this bug). I saw a few people mentioning they're having this issue but not as many people as I thought there would be. I have this happening with my M1 MBA and 2017 MBP. Is anybody else experiencing this with their MacBooks or magic trackpads? [link] [comments]

Issues opening links in new tabs Posted: 31 Oct 2021 07:44 PM PDT I'm on an M1 MBA running Monterey, and within the past couple of days, Safari developed this weird problem where I cannot open links into new tabs. So when I go to drive.google.com and try to create a new document, Safari just loads into the home page and makes it impossible for me to conventionally make a document. I need to right-click and select "open in new tab" or use the middle button of my mouse to open the tab. Is there a fix for this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Oct 2021 10:55 PM PDT I tried Googling but it returned a lot of results that were not what I was wanting. Looked at automater and shortcuts but they don't have any interactions with keyboard backlights. Also checked the keyboard preferences in settings and did not find a shortcut to change the backlight brightness. I am aware of going into control centre and changing the keyboard brightness there. On the latest MacOS Montenary update with the 2021 Mac Thank you for your time [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Nov 2021 02:20 AM PDT I do TTS in Japanese for my translation work. It used to just read out the entire selection, but now it stops sometimes at a newline, perhaps sometimes when there is just a new sentence. Sometimes this is useful as I can go through slowly, but sometimes it isn't what I want. What's crazy to me is how randomly it decides to either continue reading through or stop. I looked in system preferences and online and didn't see any way to control it. Has anyone figured out how? [link] [comments]
anyone else experiencing AirPods Pro bug on macOS Monterey? Posted: 01 Nov 2021 01:40 AM PDT I just updated my Mac (MBP M1 2020) to macOS Monterey 12.0.1 a few days ago. My AirPods Pro (4A400) constantly has an audio balancing issue (it shows balanced in the audio settings), resolved by reenabling the Bluetooth. When using the mic, it also muted the audio and makes a robotic sound that doesn't resemble anything I should hear. The issues do not appear when connected to my phone (iPhone XR, iOS 15.1). The issues also do not appear on my 2nd MacBook (13" Early 2015, still on Big Sur). Has anyone else experienced these issues? [link] [comments]

Anybody else having issues with Local Network in Monterey? Posted: 31 Oct 2021 11:46 PM PDT I can't find my printers, or any other PCs or Macs in Local network since Monterey. If i manually plug the IP in, i can see it, ping it, and add the printers. But I still can't seem to print anything. Anybody else experiencing this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Oct 2021 01:18 PM PDT Using any semi heavy apps - safari, chrome, logic, maps, doing anything will slowly devour the entire memory of my 8gb m1 air, running 12.0.1, yesterday I thought it was a chrome issue but no, its my computer. This started happening a few days ago, i think after updating to 12.0.1 Basically, when I first launch the apps, or when I quit and reopen, everything is fine, but the more I have it open, the more ram it begins to use (or at least that's what activity monitor tells me), even safari slowly creeps up about 10GB per hour and eventually upwards of 40gb, then my mac tells me it has no memory and has me force quit things. same thing with logic pro x and chrome. even if i close tabs in chrome and safari, the ram never goes down, it only goes up. Like bruh Please help, I'm terrified. praying to god it aint a hardware problem [link] [comments]
