Waiting for blood glucose, anyone else? Posted: 15 Nov 2021 11:17 PM PST I'd normally buy an Apple Watch this year, but given how there were rumors of a blood glucose sensor, I'm going skip series 7. I'm wondering: how many others are hoping for this feature in series 8? Disclaimer: I remember people saying blood glucose would happen on series 6 and I realize there is no guarantee it will happen on series 8. [link] [comments]

What’s the best 3-in-1 charger, $100-150? Posted: 16 Nov 2021 05:53 AM PST I really want something like a pad, where it's out of the way and simple. I was looking at the Nomad pad chargers, but heard bad stories about them. I don't want stuff like the belkin boost pro. [link] [comments]

Is it possible to use Apple Watch without Digital Crown? Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:54 AM PST Hello, I have an opportunity to buy my first apple watch (2 gen) pretty cheap, but the problem is that the digital crown doesn't work. Is it possible to use all of apple watch functions without it? Thanks for your help [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:42 AM PST I've been applying Clorox wipes and still the watch as a stale sweat odor to it. Any tips for getting rid of the smell? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:41 AM PST So I have a little doubt about sweat on the Apple Watch. Can it damage the watch? I am exercising everyday doing cardio about an hour / day. Could there be any problem? Thanks is advance. [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:37 AM PST Hi everyone I bought my series 7 a week ago and since the start the battery has been very bad. I sssumed this was just as it was new and the software was optimising. For example I'll charge before sleeping to 100%wake up after 8 hours at 70% and end the day at like 10%. Today I went in to a 4 hour shift at work at 75% and finished at 30%. Did I get a defective unit or something? It's a Bluetooth version not cellular [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:26 AM PST If I read some text messages on my iPhone and then go look at my Apple Watch the notification count shows up as I haven't read them on my phone already and vice versa. [link] [comments]
Which apple watch model should I choose? Posted: 16 Nov 2021 07:21 AM PST Hi :) I'm a little conflicted about which apple watch model I should choose. I don't have any underlying health problems so ECG and blood pressure monitoring isn't really a priority. I mostly need one that is able to play music on my iPhone and also accurately measure steps, exercise time and calories. It should also be resistant to water, mainly rain. And customization of the display screen would be nice. Any recommendations appreciated [link] [comments]
Do you use the Mindfulness app? I don't quite understand it Posted: 15 Nov 2021 03:38 PM PST I only just joined the club a couple weeks ago with a secondhand Series 5 so I'm still getting used to some of the features. One thing I can't find much info on is the Mindfulness app or how helpful people think it is. I notice it's new to watchOS 8 so I guess there's not a lot of info about it, but it just seems like something people probably turned off the moment they got a notification for it. I know being mindful is important but the "Reflect" one does nothing for me because I can never think of a specific moment it mentions (Maybe if I had a list I'd be able to). I do think the "Breathing" one helps me to take a moment to calm down for a bit. Just feel like I'm missing something here! Should I be doing both of them per day? [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Nov 2021 06:28 AM PST hi all, I have an apple watch 4 40mm that I bought used. I reset it (the old owner didn't) but now I can't pair it. Every time I try to start the configuration I get the message that an update is available, but immediately after it says that it is impossible to determine the update as I am not connected to the internet. the iphone is connected in both wifi and 4g but fails. will it be because i already have an apple watch on my account? I have been trying since this morning but without success [link] [comments]

Live tracking of average heartrate during a workout Posted: 16 Nov 2021 06:15 AM PST Hi all. Is there a way to see what my average heart rate is for an entire workout without stopping the workout? For context, I need to maintain an average heartrate of greater than 145bpm for a period of more than 30 minutes. So is there a way for me to see what my average heartrate is (for the entire workout so far) at say 24 minutes, to see if I am on track towards reaching that goal? That way I'll know if I need to push on a bit more or if I can maintain the current workout intensity. The key is that I do not want to stop the workout to see this, because it needs to be a continuous workout for an entire 30 minutes. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
