    I know Reddit, Facebook, Apple Discussions, MacRumors Forums, et al. can be engaging and vocal ways to let out your voices and talk with others about Apple products and how you feel. But it feels to me like almost nobody knows about www.apple.com/feedback, a place that Apple allows its customers to voice how they feel as consumers and users of its products and services.

    I'm a Senior Advisor with AppleCare, and have been with the company for the better part of a decade. Daily I hear frustrations and complaints about Apple products, services, and even AppleCare and Apple Store horror stories. I'm glad to listen to how you feel and will notate them accordingly; but at the end of the day I'm just a call center employee.

    People reply with "yeah they never read or consider those things," but I can promise you that while you may not get a response, every single submission is seen. In my experience and career at Apple I definitely have seen changes because of it. I can't tell you what changes they are, but I know for a fact that it has made impacts in the way we engage with the Apple ecosystem.

    We all know Apple watches social media and blogosphere, but if you really want to let Apple know how you feel about something and voice your opinion as a consumer, www.apple.com/feedback is the place to go.

    It's really infuriating as sometimes you need to give an app sensitive information but the app doesn't need internet, so instead of me just trusting the app I should be able to completely block it from internet.

    Makes no sense, especially as I've read that it's possible to do in China.

    Is there any Photo backup/storing solution to save (and show) location on a windows computer - Any advice? ��

    Hey iPhone buddies, I am looking for a way to backup/safe and organise my photos without using iCloud pay-solution. The important thing is, that I really would like to dont drop the location information. I love this feature.

    Is there any program, which safes and showes this data too?

    gps only works when music is playing

    When I pause spotify, google maps stops talking completely. When I unpause it works. Can't I just have gps without music blasting over it? It isn't muted in voice. It just won't play unless music is playing at the same time. What gives?

    Iphone 12 mini screen

    Hello! I have a problem with my iphone 12 mini. When I want to change the volume in youtube, I get a white bar and two white stripes on the edge of the screen. Interesting because when I take a screenshot it doesn't really show up. Does anyone else have this problem? How can I solve it?

    games crashing upon startup

    it only happens to games. i first noticed this behavior in pokemon go, where the app would open for a split second and close, but still show as running and when spammed a little it would open
    in the end, but for only like 2 sessions and stop working again. after ios 15 geometry dash and real car parking master (i know, but the point is its not starting). i tried reinstalling all of the apps and nothing happened, still not working, and tried rebooting as welll. as far as i can remember there werent any larger changes to my system, though it could be some missconfiguration, that im not aware of.

    Getting signed out of games multiple times a day - Help

    Hello, so my issue right now seems like it's just affecting two games: Pokemon Go and Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle. When I open these games throughout the day (usually after a little break between them of an hour or so), I have to resign into each game.

    Pogo prompts me to select my birthdate and sign in with my Google account...this causes it to be a "fresh" sign in and it resets my settings (turn off vibrate, lower sound in game, etc...). Dokkan makes me sign in with my (fake) Facebook account and I have to download a large data file that you have to download every time you sign into a different account.

    It seems like iOS is doing something to delete my data in these games throughout the day. I tested my ad blocker (AdGuard) by turning it off, but the issue still happens. Could there be a setting in iOS that's deleting the data in certain games where I log in with Google or Facebook accounts?

    I'm going through a billing mess with Verizon. I'm done with them. Until this gets resolved I'm switching to a new carrier. I will be buying a new IPhone with the new carrier. My question is, can I still use my apple ID and ICloud with the new Iphone from a new carrier or can Verizon lock my apple ID or Icloud over these billing issues?

    iOS 15 Spotlight’s app search

    Does anyone feel like iOS 15's spotlight app search is noticeably slower than iOS 14's? Recently I was using my friend's iPhone running iOS 14.8. The instant I started typing an app's name, that app appeared almost in an instant. I got into the iOS 15 beta early and forgot how fast it used to be in iOS 14.

    The speed of the app appearing when I search seems to vary. Most of the times when I invoke Spotlight after a while, the results appear only after 1 second.

    "You're complaining that it appears after only one second?"

    I know it sounds silly on a post like this but it really adds up. On iOS 14 it appears in an instant. I have constantly tapped the "search/go" key on the keyboard slightly too fast just because the result doesn't appear fast enough and I end up having to reach for the top and tap on the app icon.

    How do I prevent an iPhone from switching audio to a different app?

    I'm using the Roku app on an iPhone 12 and have headphones connected to the iPhone via Bluetooth listening to the TV via the Roku app.

    I am browsing Reddit on the iPhone at the same time. When I come across a post with audio, the Roku app audio cuts out.

    Does anyone know how to force the Roku app to always control the audio regardless of which app is in the forefront?

    iOS 15.1 Location Services battery drain

    Hi,

    I recently updated my iPhone 11 Pro to iOS 15.1, and I've noticed that it's constantly been pulling my location. Further inspection revealed that "Find My iPhone" under "System Services" is the culprit.

    My battery life has been terrible since I've updated to iOS 15.1. In fact, I updated my Apple Watch Series 3 to watchOS 8.1 (from 7.x) yesterday, and it drained around 60% just lying idle on my desk. Found out that it persistently said "Location: Requested".

    I've since turned off Find My iPhone, and battery life seems to have greatly improved on both devices.

    Has anyone faced the same issue, and is there any fix to this? I'm uncomfortable leaving Find My iPhone off since it has come in handy before.

    Edit: I updated my phone when the update came out so it's been a few weeks and is not the indexing.

    How to get access to my iPhone if I forgot the password?

    I've completely forgot the password, tried a few I thought it would of been but none of them worked. I thought I could just plug it into my laptop and connect it to iTunes and i would be able to get access again but it's coming up on the phone that I need to unlock it before I can use accessories?

    Focus mode not allowing notifications from an allowed app

    Hi, I have a focus mode set up and in it's settings I've allowed notifications to be allowed from a certain app. Yet when that focus mode is on, notifications from the 'allowed' app are turning up in the notifications summary instead and not getting delivered immediately. Any ideas why?

    The app is set to allow notifications and I have tried setting it to 'allow immediate notifications' delivery and also tried deliver to 'notifications summary', and both seem to do the same, everything arrives in the summary when the Focus mode is turned on. Is it a bug.

    My understanding initially was, if I have the app I want notifications from set to 'notifications summary', then everything arrives in the summary, this is the case at the moment, but in the focus mode settings I have selected this same app as an app that will be allowed deliver when the focus mode is on. So I should receive notifications when the focus is on immediately and when the focus is not on, it should go to summary, right of have I misunderstood this?

    Issues with Sign in with google/fb

    Any one else faces issue on older iphoned while trying to sign in with OAuth like Facebook/ google? The whole browser view goes blank for me. Earlier this used to happen only for sign in with google. I have tried checking all settings related to safari and Chrome. Using ios 15.1 on iphone 6s

    Planning to buy Ipad mini 6, but.....

    My budget only up to 64 gb base model of Ipad mini 6 it has A15 bionic and that is what I want to play my games "Genshin" "COD" "GTAs" "Pubg" will be first time using ios products but I like the size just perfect for gaming using 2 hands and the processor is fast

    I don't plan on adding anything but just games on it, I already have the Samsung s6 tab for movies and netflix but it is so slpw on game keeps lagging and heating specially on genshin.

    If 64 base model already takes about 14gb for system that leaves me 50gb free for app of choice.

    So my question is does updates stacks with each other (So if updates take about 2-3gb every year that means in 5 years time the the updates will take 15gb will only leave me with 35gb for apps. )

    Or every new update the old system files get deleted?

    Hope I make sense im not native english.

    I broke my iphone screen.

    So i broke my Iphone X screen. Parts are on its way.

    In the mean time,I have a problem,the screen now has crazy ghost touch and I cant really navigate the screen anyways most probably from being broken duh. Hence,the ghost touch has been inputting passcodes by itself and now prompting me to connect it to iTunes.

    The MAJOR problem is that it keeps calling my emergency contacts on itself but I can't turn it off because Im regularly getting phone calls. And I need the phone to stay on for whatsapp as it is the only mode of communication right now.

    My support request is that,say I wipe it through Find My,can I still receive calls before setting up the phone?

    **while writing this post I realize that by wiping the phone I will lose WhatsApp web but thats maybe not as big as a deal as getting phone calls.

    Apple and eero issues

    For a couple years now, I have had friends and family's iOS devices that still can't connect to my eero network AT ALL. I can usually get a year-old iPad to connect within about 15 minutes, if I continually forget the wifi and reconnect. Some Macbooks don't connect at all.

    Eero has been supremely unhelpful, and they have never admitted to there being a problem with Eero and Apple devices. But the proof is in the pudding. Has anybody here switched over from eero to another mesh system because of similar issues? Are there any mesh networks that are famed to work well with Apple gear?

    Downloading apps in focus mode hides the apps

    iOS 15.1. I've been enjoying focus mode, but I've noticed that when I download an app it doesn't show up on the Home Screen. This appears to have something to do with the ability to hide some home pages when focus mode is on. I can find the app on the page that shows collections of all apps and I can long press on the app and choose Add to Home Screen and the app appears. Can anyone else confirm the issue? I can't decide if this is a feature or a bug.
