I love the fact they're dropped weekly makes TV more fun to me. But when I'm watching 2-3 of your shows every week I'd much rather them come out on different days of the week. I mean it's your own platform nothing stopping that from happening. Just do me a favor and fire whoever decided on the fridays only thing. Also fire whoever does the user interface on any of your platforms. Fix those things and you're gonna go far kid. [link] [comments] | ||

| tvOS TV app Prime Video integration Posted: 16 Nov 2021 02:41 PM PST According to the Apple website Prime Video has integration with the tvOS TV app: "Streaming services, streamlined.Easily discover all your favorite shows from streaming services including Disney+, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and more — all inside the app." I live in Portugal and we do have integration with Disney+ but not with Prime Video? I have an Apple TV 4K, 2021 Samsung Frame 75", and a Samsung sound bar. I get the sound effects of menu navigation, so audio is indeed working. But when I play content, there is no audio. Sometimes I have to exit all the way back to the home menu, then go back in to whatever app I was using, and play again - and it works. Sometimes, not, so I go through Netflix or HBO Max directly from the television's app. This is not restricted to any particular app - it happens with Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Apple TV +. I like the idea of the colour calibration and webOS is very laggy. The apps themselves run fine though and still all look great with Dolby vision etc. What is your experience with Apple TV vs built in apps.? Also do you think the 64 gb is worth getting? | Apple TV 4K - screen brightness flickers dim? Posted: 16 Nov 2021 06:13 AM PST I have a new Apple TV 4K and TCL (75S535) TV, and I'm having a strange issue. When I watch in DolbyVision (see it with Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ and Empire Strikes Back on Disney+), I see the screen brightness "flicker" or quickly go dim (not black or off) and then revert in a split second. It's not random - seems to happen only when the camera changes, but not every time the camera changes. Im using a HDMI 2.0 4K cable, and I tried swapping the cable - not the issue. I tried switching the input - same issue. I tried it with a Roku, and with the Roku there's no flicker. I changed the picture setting on Apple TV to HDR rather than Dolby, and I don't see the flicker - although the screen brightness is much more muted to begin with when I switch from DolbyVision to HDR. is this a known issue? The touchpad works, pause, etc. The volume buttons are just not going up or down I've tried messing with the remote settings but no success, also have unplugged tv and plugged back in. | Anyone experiencing buffering issues with YouTube only? Posted: 16 Nov 2021 01:03 AM PST Hey guys! I've been having really bad lag with my YouTube since the last update. It usually is loading at the start of the video, which I don't mind, but today I had it buffering halfway when I was watching a video. Couldn't click on anything, up down, but the bar shows that is had already downloaded the next part of the video. How do I fix this ? I'm using Apple TV 4K 2021, google dns, ipv4 and Ethernet to 800mbps internet connection. No issues streaming 4K hdr in other apps, when it finally loads the connection speed to YouTube is around 250mbps [link] [comments] | ||

| Apple TV’s web interface needs work Posted: 15 Nov 2021 07:27 PM PST Sorry, just a little frustration rant. I hate Apple TV's web interface. It's so user-hostile. No search, no Up Next, just constant scrolling and a bunch of show suggestions in those huge rectangular boxes that just seem so extremely random. Logging on and simply just trying to find the last show I was watching is a pain in the ass. Speaking of logging on, for some reason even if I browse away from Apple TV's website to another page and come back, it forces me to log in with 2FA again. Every time. I just hope they make the web version somewhat usable in the future. I don't have an Apple TV box so the web version is really my best option, but it has the absolute worst UI and UX effort I've seen in a long time. Thanks for reading my rant. [link] [comments] |
