    Trying to make a new iTunes account, does this mean it will wipe everything on my phone? Like pictures and messages?

    Omg…Been talking to Apple support The last few days because I needed to reset my password.

    They shared the bad news of waiting for three days (To ensure security yeah I know I still think that's bogus). Then when I asked if I received the reset password link if it could be texted they said oh no it might be a phone call what will you do?! Sure enough it was a text message.

    Today I thought that I was supposed to get the text already but it turns out I was off by two hours (misread the GMT and I'm EST). This new agent I was talking to today started off with "You say you visited that I forgot link so why are you chatting with us?" I said I wanted to get verification of when I could expect the reset. They said it can take up to 30 days and I said excuse me I was told three and they said oh well that's just an estimate. Sure enough like an hour later I got the reset link THROUGH TEXT.

    I'll make a disclaimer that I'm sure not ALL support staff is this incompetent but the last few days prove there are some who definitely are.

    Broken screen, phone locked

    My wife dropped her iPhone 11pro and the top row of numbers are not reacting to any touch. She needs a number up there to unlocked. In my glorious thinking I thought maybe a hard restart would do the trick. Well it didn't snd not we can't use Siri voice over or anything else to unlock. Other than just getting the screen repaired tomorrow, thankfully it's insured and won't cost anything is there anything that can be done to unlock it? It's paired to her Apple Watch snd iPad. The only reason we are trying to gain access is she has a VPN app for her work connectivity on there and can't do anything until she can get access to the app.

    Thank you for the help. She has the most recent iOS on there as well if that's helpful.

    iPhone 7 Plus on IOS 14.0.1, should I updated to a newer version?

    I'm wondering if maybe there's a specific version that is ideal for iPhone 7 Plus (Battery Life 79%), like 14.4 or any specific version. If not, then the choice is should I stay at my current version or update to the latest (ios 14.7.1)?

    No media audio out of earpiece on XR

    The earpiece works during phone calls which is the strangest part.

    Media like YouTube or music only plays out of the bottom firing "left" speaker. I've tried multiple videos and songs to confirm this.

    Adjusting setting in the Audio/Visual part of the Accessibility settings doesn't fix this.

    Any suggestions?

    Is it common for my iPhone 11 to get hot while charging? When I was in 14.4.2 it didn’t seem to heat up like it does on 14.6.

    Is it possible to find out who texted you a live pic, but you deleted your text history of them?

    i have an iphone 6s & i don't want to get a new phone because i like having an aux port. it's gotten pretty slow, though. would doing a factory reset of my phone (& redownloading all the same apps & stuff) make it faster again?

    Screen Time App Limits- Combined or Separate?

    If I create a screen time app limit, containing 15-20 apps, with a limit of 6 hours. Is it set that if I spend 5 hours on TikTok, and 1 hour on Pinterest, I can't spend any more time on TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other 20 apps?

    Or, is it that I can spend only 6 hours on TikTok, and 6 hours on Pinterest etc

    If it is the latter, is there a way to set up the former, without setting individual timers per app (like a total limit for all social media)

    I transfered my data from android to iphone and now it says that all of my messages are from yesterday

    I bought an iphone 12 pro a couple of weeks ago and transfered from android via the move to ios app.

    Everytime i open my messages app it now says that all my messages (even several year old messages) are from yesterday.

    Even stranger is if i view an old message it changes the timestamp to my spesific time and day. It is frustrating because if i want to view a message i got from a couple of days ago it takes a long time to find it since it is no longer sorted properly

    I would appreciate any help if anyone else have had this problem

    Phone mic committed unalive

    Would anyone happen to know why my microphone just simply won't work? When I make calls on snapchat it won't go through or let me accept, on a regular call the speaker button is grayed out, and whenever I make a call or even a voice note on telegram it just refuses to work. Wondering if this is something I can fix or if I'll just simply need to get a new phone. I'm a bit new to owning an iPhone so I started off with a 7 plus.

    Can't get into my locked notes app, desperate for any way to get in

    Hi guys, I have a locked notes app in my phone that I have been compiling incredibly important writings in for upwards of a year now. I use Face ID to open it rather than a password, and it has never prompted me for one before. A few days ago, my phone had too much storage and kind of glitched out and I couldn't see my texts etc. I fixed this by removing a lot of photos, and free up like 15gb of space. The phone worked normally, and business was as usual. However, yesterday I tried to open up my locked notes app to add to it, and was asked to enter a password instead of show my face. I thought this was weird, and restarted my phone. It happened again. Since then, I have called apple, read the forums, and tried every single conceivable password I could have set. Nothing has worked. I would do quite literally ANYTHING to get into that page again, and if anyone could offer some insight as to why this may be happening or what I can do to get it to ask for my Face ID instead, I would be beyond grateful. I cannot stress how important this document is to me and how devastated I am. I know it is my fault for storing such important writings in a notes app document, and I have for sure learned my lesson, but I would do, again, ANYTHING to just be able to get in there and copy it down somewhere else in case something like this happens again. Thank you SO much to anyone who has any ideas, I truly, truly appreciate it.

    Help recent missed call isn’t showing up in phone log

    Action done inside apps !

    I have observed whenever I take screenshot and choose the actions options, the shortcut has information on whom I sent DMs in Instagram and Snapchat !! For eg. earlier If I had sent a msg to a person called X in Instagram, on the additional actions page, I can see the IG logo along with X's profile pic.

    How can this information be available on operating system level? I thought actions done within an app is available only while using the app.

    Am I missing something??
