Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2021 04:00 PM PDT

Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles!

As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store!

To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default.

Looking for a game with gear progression like retail WoW

    Posted: 15 Aug 2021 02:22 PM PDT

I enjoy retail WoWs gear progression. Beat dungeons and raids at one difficulty to eventually gear up to beat the next difficulty. Is there anything with that type of progression for iOS? Doesn't have to be an mmorpg. Could even be a turn based game or card game, but the idea is that there's some sort of repeating progression to get to the next difficulty.

    A game like Melvor Idle

    Posted: 16 Aug 2021 08:52 AM PDT

I recently saw someone talking about a game in development that is similar to Melvor idle but has some type of multiplayer aspect to it. I haven't been able to find mention of it again. Am I going crazy or is there actually a game like that being developed? Thanks!

How to install Ninja Saga in the U.S?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2021 09:45 PM PDT

So recently I remembered this game I used to play wayy back when called Ninja Saga, and I want to play it again, but I couldn't find it on the App Store, so when I went online to see if it got taken down, I saw the website for the game that had a download link, and when I clicked it it said "This app is currently not available in your country or region." So is there any way I can circumvent this?

    Looking for an old game

    Posted: 15 Aug 2021 05:21 PM PDT

There was a game I used to play on my ipod touch, way back in the day. It was a base building kind of game with a military theme. You would build defenses and train troops, and there would be encounters with raider type guys. Encounters were turn based and you could have different units on the field. Thats really all i remember. Thanks for the help in advance!
