Dies swimming Posted: 14 Aug 2021 01:41 AM PDT My series 5 iWatch died while on open water swimming mode. I haven't been able to get any life into it even after charging it up and forcing a reset. Apple Watch (Series 6 Cellular) constantly telling me I'm not connected to the Internet when I'm not home Posted: 12 Aug 2021 05:35 PM PDT Trying to use my watch while out and about. Phone is not with me or anywhere nearby. 90% of the time when I try to use data (or Siri), it will tell me I'm not connected to the Internet. When I swipe up to bring up the control center, I tap to disable WiFi and it then connects ok. Maybe a minute later the same thing happens again. I am not home when this is happening, so it's not in range of my home WiFi. This seems to happen regardless of whether I am actually near a WiFi network that my phone is set to auto connect to, so I don't think that is the issue. The only suggestions I've seen to force it to use cellular and not WiFi are to toggle airplane mode and turn off Bluetooth (I don't even have my phone with me at the time so I assume it's not relevant for this situation), but that is not really a good method (if relevant) because I am using Bluetooth headphones to stream music to. I have two parent with the same Watch who are also having similar issues. Any suggestion? This is maddening! submitted by /u/chilimost [link] [comments]
