- When you buy a season, does the whole season need to be out to be able to watch it?

Posted: 13 Aug 2021 02:12 PM PDT I was scrolling through appletv and I saw a series that I liked and was only airing in my country in appletv. So I went on the details and saw the option to buy the complete season and save some money, instead of buying each individual episode. So i clicked that option, but it appears as if I had not bought it, and in the "reportaproblem" website it appears as if I did in fact bought it. The series is currently halfway through its season. Do I need to wait for it to be completed and then I can watch it, or is it a bug? And sorry if I asked this in the wrong subreddit. If I did, just tell me where to ask this properly. | Persistent issues with quality/lag on ATV+ shows using ATV4 Posted: 13 Aug 2021 09:52 AM PDT I will have zero issues streaming anywhere else. I can use Netflix, Plex, OutTV, CTV, Global, etc. with zero issues. But every single time I've watch Schmigadoon, the video and sound will freeze about halfway through, and then the quality will drop when it does keep going, but it will freeze again almost immediately. If I back out and wait to be sure it saved where I was, which it does, it then starts from the beginning again. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm using wifi but I don't see how that could be it when this is literally the only thing affected, and it's driving me bonkers. Wired isn't possible. [link] [comments]  | ||

| TvOS 15 b5 - Spatial audio is garbage Posted: 13 Aug 2021 05:36 PM PDT Here is my setup: - Apple TV 4K first generation - TvOS15 beta 5 I did try the spatial audio on my Apple TV by watching the trailer of the See's second season... I was disappointed. I ran the same test with my iPhone, and wow... it was totally different and much better. You can test it by yourself by starting the trailer of the second season, and at 00:16 when the guy throw the sword/spear and it hits the tree, you can hear some nice bass using the iPhone. The same scene on the Apple TV doesn't even produce any bass and the global audio sounds poor. Please tell me something is wrong in my setup because I'm waiting for so long to get Spatial Audio on the APTV. [link] [comments]  | ||

I've just bought an Apple TV (hd) and I am very disappointed that BritBox does not work ( sound but no picture) although it works perfectly on the Panasonic tv using google cast.. even using the BritBox app on my iPhone and using airplay does not work .. | Posted: 13 Aug 2021 01:31 PM PDT Is it worth it? I have a Roku TV and I was wondering what the benefits of an Apple TV would be. I have a 50" 4K HDR10 TV (not the best, it's an Onn TV) but it is a good solid TV for the $110 I spent on it... it does lack Dolby Vision which if I upgrade eventually, that would be why. But what's the huge benefit of having an Apple TV? I do not have the $15 plan for music and TV, I own most of my movies on Vudu but port what I can, and I use Apple TV for Porkys mostly. I went to settings > accounts > added my own Apple ID, then went I switched to mine it says I have to $ubscribe to Apple TV... how do I add a profile on my dads account?
