Series 1 vs Series 6 heart rate monitor Posted: 11 Aug 2021 03:33 AM PDT I currently have a series 1 watch and I'm thinking about switching it up for a series 6 (or 7 if it comes out æter this year). However, my main reason for wanting to switch is that I'm not very satisfied with the heart rate monitor as it often cannot read my heart rate during workouts or reads is wrong (sometimes I get a 56BPM reading when I'm working out). I couldn't find any helpful information on apples' page, so I was wondering if anyone has made the switch and can confirm that series 6 has a better monitor or if anyone knows about the technical stuff? Interval Training. Apple Watch 6 Posted: 11 Aug 2021 08:08 AM PDT Moving from a Garmin Fenix 5 to an Apple Watch wasn't an easy decision, but is taken... Of course, be the biggest gap is the Running training, I'm with difficulties planning my training using the Nike Club app and I'm looking for solutions. I found some apps,l like Intervals Pro, but the isn't easy to check online, don´t sync with all the other partners ... What do you guys suggest? [link] [comments]

First Apple Watch! 40 vs 44 for my probably larger wrist? Posted: 11 Aug 2021 01:51 AM PDT So I am getting my first Apple Watch and trying to decide on the 40 vs 44. I have tried on both with a case (as I'm Accident prone!). My wrist is 186mm. Here are both. First impressions is that the 44 looks big. But I'm not used to wearing a watch at all! Maybe the 40 looks too small? I don't know! Opinions greatly appreciated [img]https://i.postimg.cc/1zwzdQ9v/667-CE12-C-E5-AE-4492-BC72-DC833480884-A.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.postimg.cc/bvxzT9TM/D44045-A0-F835-4391-8198-739-C1-DA1-FDDB.jpg[/img] [link] [comments]

Constuction apps? Calorie tracking at work? Posted: 10 Aug 2021 04:20 PM PDT Hi everyone, bought an apple watch on my month off really focused on fitness, love it. However im back at work and I'm wondering how the watch tracks my calories at work? For reference I'm a Pipefitter working on old ships turning wrenches and sweating all day. Will the passive calorie count be accurate? Setting it to 'other workout' might be more accurate. What do the experts think?:) [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Aug 2021 08:02 AM PDT Hi everyone! I'm new here. Bought my first Apple Watch in January and my watch keeps telling me that my fitness level is low (duh). I am walking 3.5+ miles/day and doing other things (physical therapy and other exercises). How long does it take to improve your fitness levels? My lowest was 19.5 and I am at 22.6 today. It's a small improvement so I am happy but it is discouraging when your watch keeps telling you it's low. [link] [comments]
