    [Discussion] I noticed that I almost never update my tweaks after getting a setup on my device that I like, so I've always wondered: How often do you guys find yourself updating your tweaks? If a tweak works as intended and you are satisfied with it, do you still update it regularly?

    I've been in jailbreaking scene for over 6 years and one issue that I always seem to run into when updating tweaks is that the updates sometimes tend to break the tweak, especially on devices running older firmware. I currently have 25 installed tweaks on Cydia that need to be updated, and I can almost guarantee that it wont go over smoothly if I decide to update all of them at once (based off previous experiences). I just don't see any point in updating a tweak if its working fine and I consider it pretty risky to do so because I don't want to lose my setup, so I only update a tweak if its not working properly and the an update fixes it. Nowadays, if I'm happy with my setup and all my installed tweaks run smoothly, I just don't bother taking the risk with updating it. And I know that you can downgrade tweaks these days (it wasn't as common back in the day iirc), but not every tweak offers a downgrade.

    So yeah, I just want to know how everyone else handles updating tweaks. Do you guys update your tweaks asap after a new update drops? Or do you hold off and just update all of your tweaks at once? Or are you like me, and you just don't bother updating any tweaks if they are running smoothly without any issues?

    [tutorial] how to get altstore that works in stock on ios 12 for anyone willing to jailbreak

    You will need:

    Altstore ipa saved to files app: https://github.com/rileytestut/AltStore Appsync unified from karens repo: https://cydia.akemi.ai/ A computer with the altserver A jailbroken device (a jailbreak is only needed to get appsync and you can restore rootfs after if you want)

    1. Install altstore to your jailbroken device with altserver.
    2. Open it and it shouldn't crash if so make sure you have installed appsync unified.
    3. Connect to the same network as pc or connect with cable if the network altserver is not working.
    4. Press the + button on the my apps section on altstore.
    5. Wait for altstore to sideload.
    6. Once altstore is installed you can reboot and altstore should still work.

    This is my first attempt at a guide so sorry for any misspellings or incorrect info.

    This has worked for me on ios 12.4.9 ipad touch air A7 this might / might not work on ios 13 not sure.

    Please tell me if this works / doesnt work for you.

    Anyone know of a tweak that disables this on the Messenger recently? On iOS 12

    I have tried the ones on Flex and some in the Zebra. Anyone know for sure one that works with the last few versions of the Messenger app and not guesses.

    I'm trying to convert on of my devices from unc0ver to Odyssey, but I'm running into a snag when transferring my tweaks. Every time I try installing my saved .deb from Batchomatic, it constantly crashes on step 4 of 5. What could be the problem?

    i really really need two things, a tweak that adds shuffle and repeat buttons to the lock screen for music. and a tweak that removes the "you've been listening to music too loud, i'm gonna turn your music down to where it's completely unbearable"! y'all is anyone working on these tweaks?
