12 Pro, 14.5b2 Wifi dropping out after changing ISP Posted: 25 Feb 2021 10:59 AM PST Updated to the beta as and when it was released and had no issues of note. Today I changed ISP and after setting up with the new provider, my phone now holds an active wifi connection for maybe a few seconds before dropping out. My network is setup so the ISP's provider router has the wifi bands disabled and then I use TP Link WAPs to provide a wireless network. Now when I connect to the network, I get a brief period of functionality, enough to do a speedtest or refresh reddit or twitter, then it drops out again. The connection stays according to the phone and the network, but my phone fails to load anything or receive any messages, notifications etc. Switching Private Address off/on does the same as forgetting the network, it works for a few seconds before dropping out again. I'm at a bit of a loss with what to do, short of downgrading again which obviously I'd like to avoid. My gut says the software is not the problem anyway - but if no one has any suggestions I'll have to try going back to 14.4. [link] [comments]

Magsafe Charger stops charging at 80 Posted: 24 Feb 2021 10:38 PM PST I have a iphone 12 peo max with the ios 14.5 latest beta. Whenever I charge my iphone using magsafe it stops at 80 percent everytime. It wont go up, even though the optimized charging is disabled. Anyone experiencing this? Wired charger has no issue with optimized charging on. [link] [comments]

[watchOS beta 7.4] question about beta and resetting the watch Posted: 24 Feb 2021 05:55 PM PST I traded in my watch 5 for a watch 6 because apple was offering enhanced trade in value. But the evaluator said my watch was not pairable with three different phones. I confirmed through apple tech support that the watch is not anywhere on my account or showing up anywhere that they could see attached to me. My question is this: is there something funky about watchOS 7.4 that prevents it from pairing with versions of iOS below 14.5? It's the only thing I can think of that might be stopping it from pairing. And I'd this is true, how do I reset the watch to the official release? [link] [comments] |
