- Completed at Rainier!
- Gotta make sure everyone in a five mile radius knows

- Do you guys think I’ll be able to win the August challenge?
- High Tech stuff right there
- Hope everyone got this badge yesterday!
- Any addiction specialists here?
- Unpairing unsuccessful and getting an activation lock warning
- Did everyone get their National Parks Challange badge today? If not you have 2 hours to record a walk or run of at least a mile. Just finished my outdoor run with my Be-Fri.
- For anyone worried about a little swimming with the AW, here’s 4+ hours in the pool.
- Apple watch battery died early in run on cellular
- Apple Watch S4 sudden batter decrease
- Guys does your watch do the same or is it just me ?
- California face goes with everything

- I got my badge today too…
- Help deciding on which version to get !
- My first Apple Watch was a Series 2. Now on a Series 5 and I am pleased to hit 1000 move goals.

Unpairing unsuccessful and getting an activation lock warning Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:19 AM PDT My series 5 stopped pairing properly with my 8+ (both devices completely up to date) so I tried uninstalling the app that was not working - Overcast. It got stuck on 'uninstalling' along with a few other apps. I decided to unpair and re-pair the watch. I got the message that "unpairing was unsuccessful," however there is no watch associated with my phone now. When I go to reset the watch, I get a warning that erasing will not remove activation lock - am I going to brick my watch if I erase it? ARGHHHH [link] [comments]

For anyone worried about a little swimming with the AW, here’s 4+ hours in the pool. Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:03 AM PDT I've done this multiple times wearing my watch while doing SCUBA training in a pool area (5ft-18ft). So my worried swimmers out there, got nothing to worried about. Apple watch battery died early in run on cellular Posted: 31 Aug 2020 05:09 AM PDT Hi all! I was going for a run using the Nike Run Club app (strong recommend for anyone looking at starting running) on my watch without my phone (I own a Series 4 cellular). My watch was playing music through my Airpods pro. About 5 minutes into the run, the watch just totally cut out. black screen, no music. and then shortly after booted (indicating it had lost power). It then displayed having 'critical' battery (10%). I gave up with music and NRC and just did the inbuilt fitness run tracker. Annoyingly it continued to say it had 10% battery for about 4 hours post run and now that I've hooked it up to the charger it's very quickly jumped back to 60% battery (making me think it absolutely wasn't flat!) Has anyone seen anything like this before? I feel like this is similar to the older iPhone battery-gate how Apple said once batteries wear down they may be unable to deliver peak power and just cut out? If so is there a way for me to verify that? [link] [comments]
Apple Watch S4 sudden batter decrease Posted: 31 Aug 2020 08:10 AM PDT I have a stainless steel series 4 that I've had two weeks shy of one year. The last week, my battery is critically low within 11 hours of normal use for me. Before my Apple Watch would be at 40-60% at the end of the day, and yesterday I ended the day at 3% in power reserve mode. My iPhone is on iOS 14 beta 6, but my watch is on 6.2.8 now. What's wrong with it? [link] [comments]
Guys does your watch do the same or is it just me ? Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:47 AM PDT So I am wondering if this happens for someone else, I have this infograph watch face, you can see it in the picture and sometimes if I click on the watch crown and click on heart rate for example and then if I go back to watch face home screen and click on top right or top left it seems as if I have to tap sometimes twice, just wondering if someone else has the same problem or is it just me ? It's annoying since the watch sometimes feels unresponsive since I have to click twice. Thanks ! https://i.imgur.com/vz8tsF3.jpg [link] [comments]

Using Total Calories To Calculate a Calorie Deficit Posted: 31 Aug 2020 07:27 AM PDT So I've been using MyFitnessPal(MFP) for a while now and have been eating the amount of calories which were recommended on the app (1600) each day. However, thanks to my Apple Watch, I realised recently that my activity levels change each day and these aren't reflected on MFP. So some days I'd lose a total of 2,100 calories while other days it is 2,500 (no exercise, just daily job). Because I always eat 1,600 calories a day, I saw that some days I have a 500 calorie deficit while other days it is 900 calories. So my question is: should I just follow the "Total Calories" on my Apple Watch and eat 500 calories less than what is written on the Total Calories? Or shall I just stick to 1,600 a day? Help deciding on which version to get ! Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:21 AM PDT Hi, I've never owned an apple watch before but I can't decide which one to purchase. I'm trying to decide between the 3 and the 5. The only major differences between the two seem to be the sizes they come in, colors, and features on the 5 that I don't really "need". The 3 is so much cheaper, but very outdated for Apple standards, any advice or input?? [link] [comments]
