    Bought a Nikon D600 and when I travel I would want to import photos directly to the iPad without the sd card reader, but with the usbc to USB adapter and the. Use the micro usb to USB adapter from the Nikon. Has anyone had experience? Or am I making it too difficult for myself and should I just get the usbc to sd card reader?

    For now I'm also using VSCO for editing raw images but I want something else to correct the lens distortions and the pink and green color distortions at edges. Any suggestions?

    I finally removed it because I couldn't see much anymore. Once off it looked like a frosted window, even after I had cleaned it with windex twice before. I was amazed to see such a clear clean screen without looking blurry or pixelated.

    I feel I need a break from the matter screens plus using my pencil doesn't feel so bad on the glass screen. I bought a clear tempered glass protector and tho I have a matte protector on its way, I may just keep the clear glass until it scratches or at least for a couple months when I can't take the screen reflections anymore

    Can anyone recommend a keyboard alternative to the Magic Keyboard?

    Just got my 11inch Pro yesterday. Since I'm primarily going to be using it for drawing and reading, I didn't see the need to get a keyboard right off the bat, so I've been shopping around.

    I know that the general consensus for the magic keyboard seems to be that it's a pretty good product.....but I cannot, even at my stupidest "throw money at it and think later" phase years ago, justify dropping $400 on a small portable keyboard. I've done hours of research on this and I can't see what's driving up the price. It seems a bit over the top even for Apple's history of overpricing things.

    Can anyone recommend a good alternative? I'm not looking for a keyboard case because I want to use it for drawing and would like the flexibility of connecting it when I need it. But, I am looking for something that's both comfortable to use and affordable.

    Is it possible to use a phone's camera for iPad?

    It's weird to ask but you know there is some apps that you can install on your phone and thanks to this you can use it as a webcam for your PC.

    I was wondering if the same thing exist but for iPad. If for any reason you can't use the integrated camera of your iPad, could we install something on a smartphone and then use it as camera for the iPad?

    Jump Remote Desktop with magic keyboard (symbol keys not working)?

    Just bought jump so far it seems great the trackpad on the magic keyboard works great! Problem is I cant seem to use the symbol keys correctly, for example SHIFT+2 does not give me @ it does nothing and SHIFT+3 gives ~

    Is there a setting I need to change somewhere?

    Hyperdrive vs Dongle style USB C hub

    I've recently got the iPad Pro, and really like it. Looking to get a USB C hub, but not sure I really want to spend $130(CAD) for a HyperDrive USB-C hub, or get a "dongle" style.

    I could get a cheaper one from amazon/Ali express like the hyperdrive but worry about the quality.

    Then there are the dongle type, but I worry about using a dongle hanging with it loaded up with things, and it putting a lot of stress on the USB C port on the iPad. I have the magic keyboard and I'd prefer the dongle cable to be long enough it will reach the desk to take up the weight of the dongle.

    Anyone with the MK give any input? What's worked? What hasn't?

    How do I transfer the files from iPad "On My iPad" folder to MacBook

    It's a 2GB file that I downloaded from Safari from my iPad and it's now sitting in the Downloads folder in the Files app on my iPad. When I connect my iPad to my MacBook, how do I copy that file out to my MacBook?

    I'd like a wired solution, and not AirDrop. If anyone knows, thanks a lot!

    Looking for a readitlater - annotate - save as pdf workflow

    I'm trying to find a workflow for the following usecase:

    1. Save potentially interesting articles to a readitlater-service (like Pocket) from anywhere
    2. While reading the articles on my iPad I want to be able to highlight interesting parts (if possible also add comments).
    3. Then when the article is interesting enough to keep, I want to be able to export it from my iPad as a pdf (including the annotations)

    Curious if anyone has found a good way to do something like this.
