90-95% Brightness Dimming? No auto brightness.

My phone’s noise cancellation stopped working suddenly. Any way to fix this?
Random heat marks on my iphone x steel body. Any fix?
Result of 2.5 years of caseless usage. I always loved using my phones without a case and never cared about wear and tear. I was afraid of fragility of glass sandwich but phone held up pretty well.

My brothers phone started doing this the other day. Then bricked itself. And is displaying this again. https://imgur.com/a/z5rR0Aw

Any clue on what's wrong? Should he buy a new phone or can it be fixed (I have experience fixing electronics)

I usually keep my phone at roughly 90-95% brightness at all times. I've been seeing my phone dims when the brightness is up that high. Auto brightness is off. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ever since the 13.4.1 update my battery has been a complete waste. Not more than 4h SOT. Installed new battery,Tried reset, restore all for nothing. Going back to my pixel 4XL which had 6-6.5hrs SOT. Imessage was worth it but it's not something id sacrifice for battery

I see heat discolouring on the body of the phone in a few places. Is there any way to fix this?
