Tips for switching Android Users? Posted: 15 Apr 2020 03:44 PM PDT I have been lazy with my proofreading so this has gotten 0 re read so it might have some bad grammar just for a heads up! So I have NEVER owned an iPhone. I have used them in store for like 5 mins and that is the most I have ever spent with an iPhone. As phones get expensive shelling out $1000 over the span of 2 years and then getting know more software updates is pissing me off. I don't have the money to spend $1000 on a phone every 2 years and hell soon its going to be $2000 every 2 years. (as time goes on things won't get cheaper) On top of that the main feature of Android is customization and I have realized in the past 2 years of owning this phone, the only customization I have done is change the wallpaper and move some apps around for ease of use. Also the thing I don't like about android is the app support. Some apps don't even look good to the iPhone counter part. Also before I might have liked all the cool stuff but now all I want is a GOOD BATTERY and WIDE ANGLE. Apple has good software support and the display looks acceptable for me to use. I have a mid range Samsung phone so it looks a little bit worse but not a lot. I just want 5 years of support and from the posts I have seen switching from one to the other seems very hard for a lot of people. As I said the most time I have spent with an iPhone is 5 mins, it is much more different from using a phone for 5 mins than 2 years. Right now, my budget for phones can be within the XS, 11, 11 pro (if i wait till 12 comes out which will not be that long), and S10. As time goes on, with the s10 apps will start slowing down and general time to open apps will be longer with quality of games like COD go from high to med. After that the battery is going to start giving out but the software will still be easier to use. I will be getting this phone this year and my contract is 2 years so I will be getting only one more update. I also feel like animations are better on iPhone for a long time and are less choppy compared to the S10. Now for some of my questions that I can not seem to find an answer on
I just want some tips that can help make my transition life easier and some other help would also be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] | ||
