    Brand spanking new 16" MacBook Pro • 2.4ghz i9 • 32gb RAM • 8gb VRAM • 1tb storage

    My old one was a mid 2012 13" MBP • i5 • 16gb RAM • 1tb ssd storage

    I'm so overwhelmed with excitement. Any good games I should get? I also plan on vlogging and making music. Please drop some cool softwares and games.

    Splurge on memory or storage for MacBook Air purchase?

    I am going to purchase a MacBook Air. I am definitely going to upgrade to the i5 processor. I am trying to decide if it is worth the money to splurge on upgrading to 16gb of memory and 512gb of storage. Or if I should do one and not the other—and if so which one.

    This laptop will basically be used for email, browsing, social media, online classes to work towards a degree and saving photos/home videos of my daughter.

    Any advice is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Props to Apple and their amazing customer service

    I'll try and make this brief-

    On Tuesday I bought a used MacBook Pro from a local classifieds page. I noticed when I got home that the battery was swollen, but apart from that the machine looked and worked perfect. I contacted Apple chat and they asked if the laptop got wet, and I told them I didn't think so, but it's possible as I just bought it. It is a couple months past warranty so they told me it would be $200, but that there was a chance it would get replaced free if it was defective and didn't get wet.

    Wednesday morning I got a pre-paid box to ship it back. I sent it out that afternoon.

    Thursday the status changed to "device received" and then "device being repaired" and finally "device shipped out"

    Friday (today) I get a notice from UPS that it will be delivered by 1:45 PM.

    Not only did they not charge me when they totally could have, and it would have been fair as it was outside of warranty, but they made the whole process as easy as possible. I've only ever taken devices to the nearest Apple store, so this experience of shipping it in was new to me. I figured it would take 2ish weeks and that would have been fine, but they are getting it back in less than 72 hours.

    Playing sound out of one side of headphones only

    Whenever I try to listen to music or any audio through my Bluetooth headset it will only play sound through the left side of the headphones. But when I play music through Bluetooth with my headset on my phone it works fine.

    Macbook 2015 12” no display on the laptop, but i can see with an external monitor. After booting up and logging in, about 1-2 minutes pass and the macbook comletely freezes, nit even the trackpad working. What could be the problem? Is it fixable?

    The max I'll spend on this specific MacBook is £600. I've found several on eBay and refurbished resellers. The problem I have is either the refurbished sellers are charging so much money for even the base models. The ones on eBay that I find, even within my budget, look like they have been dropped constantly for the past 5 years with awful dents or display cracks.

    Does anyone in the UK know where I can find this particular MacBook in great condition either used or refurbished?

    Applecare+ for Macbook Air?

    MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2017) Headphone Jack Issue?

    Hello all,

    I am currently perplexed with regard to an issue with the headphone jack in my MBA (13-inch, Early 2017). Whenever I plug in headphones to the 3.5 mm jack and wiggle slightly up or down, the screen turns black and the device is put to sleep. If I am in a voice/video call, moving the headphones ever so slightly will end the call. Of note, the headphone jack itself is somewhat misaligned, likely due to a few inch drop a few months back. Has anybody else encountered such an issue before? If so, what was the solution?

    Won’t turn on

    Hi my Macbook pro won't turn on. I plug in the charger but it turns orange, and when I press the power button nothing happen (the fan doesn't turn on or anything.)

    I tried the Ctrl+Option+Contr thing according to Google but it didn't work. Help ! Thank you in advance

    What’s the lifespan of a Macbook Pro?

    I got my MacBook Pro A1502 in 2014, and I just crack the screen. :'( I am thinking of buying a new one Macbook because it would cost a lot to get the screen replaced anyway, so I'm just wondering how often should or do you change MacBook pros? Or get a MacBook Air 2020? Thank you!

    Help - 2019 16-inch Macbook pro screen goes black but still running

    Hi all, I have a Macbook pro 16inch 2019 that I just bought last December. I was watching netflix then suddenly it progressively turns to black. It started in the corners then goes at the center. I turned it off, restarted it and the screen is still black. It's not a light problem since I can still change the brightness, it makes sounds and the touch bar is on so I know it is definitely working but the screen goes blank. Any ideas of what is going on ? I can't go to the repair shop nor the apple store since as you all know the quarantine. Any help would be appreciated, thanks !

    Help with MacBook storage..."disk almost full"?

    I inherited a MacBook from my coworker a while back and now notice that the disk is almost full...which is odd because it has a 500 GB disk and there are just the normal applications on it.

    When I look at storage in system preference it says 10.49 GB is in apps, 10.59 GB is in System and 474.66 GB is in Other.

    What is "Other" and how do I free up that space?

    Macbook Pro 13" 2017 has 72% battery health after only 75 cycles. This doesn't seem right. Should I contact Apple support for a faulty battery? Is there a software issue I can try to resolve?

    Hey everyone,

    Yesterday I started noticing that my MacBook touchpad became very glitchy and slow, I tried plugging in external mouse and same thing is present. When I try to click on certain item (link or anything) Mac becomes confused and either page becomes larger or something else gets opened instead of command I clicked for. I tried reseting SMC and NVRAM and same thing happens. I also tried to start Mac in safe mode and some graphic issues were present in the safe mode, like some screen glitches etc. However there are no glitches in normal user mode.

    Any help on this one? Do you think it's hardware or software issue?

    Is two hours of battery life normal on the 2018 15 inch MacBook pro

    I've had this thing for a year now, when I first got it the battery was maybe 3 hours or so, and now it is just about 2 hours when running safari + discord only. If I facetime my girlfriend I can literally bring the battery down in like an hour or so. The OS reports a healthy battery, so I'm just a little confused.
