    Factory resetting my iPhone through Find My iPhone won’t do... help.

    So, I need to factory reset my iPhone. The screen is completely black and cracked, but the phone itself still works (I think) because the home button and the wake/sleep button still works. There is no SIM card in the phone, and it's not connected to WiFi (because I can't connect it), so resetting it through find my iPhone won't work either. Does anybody know how to do this? How can I factory reset it in a different way? Edit: it also still charges.

    How long do you need to wait after leaving a family account to set up a new one?

    My dad set up a family sharing account and doesn't understand most technicalities. It's basically bust and he doesn't know what to do when I ask him to change or update things to make them functional on my end (like basic sharing or payment info).

    It wouldn't be that bad if I could just pick up his device but we don't live near each other.

    I just found out that the organizer can't be changed. The two options I see are he leaves the family and makes me the organizer and I invite him back Or We disband the account and I make a new one and invite all the old members.

    I remember hearing that there's a period of time after leaving one family before you can enter a new one.

    Is this true, and if so for how long?

    2015 MacBook Air MagSafe charger turns off computer when unplugged?

    Hey everyone, I've been noticing just today that my MagSafe charger for my 2015 MacBook Air is acting weird. Sometimes it won't charge unless you've flipped it around a bunch.

    Then just recently, any time the charger is unplugged or slightly bumped, my whole computer shuts down immediately.

    Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? I tried resetting the PRAM a few times but I'm still have the problem...thanks!!

    Macbook Pro won’t turn on, but it’s charging.

    Hi. I hadn't used my macbook in about a month and when I put it to charge it wouldn't boot back on. The light is green, but the computer won't turn on, the screen is pitch black and the fan doesn't start.

    I've tried the keyboard commands but I've had no luck. Any help?

    Lightning port headphone problems with iPad Air 3

    My wife's iPad Air 3 has some weird issues with the mic when her earpods are connected to the lightning port. When we facetime, she has to connect and reconnect several times in order to have the mic start on the headphones. She hears me fine but on my end, it sounds like the sound is echoed or the mic on her ipad picks up the noise and not from the built in earphone mic. No problem with the headphone when she connects to her iPhone though so we know the headphone is working.

    I call her, the sound on her ipad picks up the closest noise that the ipad is one, ex. if placed next to a fan it'll pick up the fan and her voice sounds like its in a distance, and not her voice even though the headphone mic is close to her mouth.

    Any ideas? I've restarted the iPad and tried clearing the port with air and updated to the nearest firmware

    Iphone 11 camera cracked! Should I take it to a certified Apple care service place or mail it to the Apple care center?

    Hello! I have one year warranty on my phone and it obviously has not been a year. What's the best option? Should I mail it to the Apple care center? If I do, how long does it usually take to get it back? Or should I take it to certified Apple care place? Would they still charge to fix it since they aren't Apple?

    macbook pro wipes keychains after i uninstall an app

    strange behavior i noticed recently.

    when i uninstall an application, immediately my keychain information is wiped (google drive credentials, outlook all say that accounts are not found).

    when i reset, it asks me to create a new login for my machine and relogin into icloud, but my installed applications are still there.

    the annoying thing is that my preferences and logins for my browsers and spotify are all gone.

    have you guys experienced this? i'm on the latest catalina

    MacBook Pro early 2015 screen errors

    Around this same time last I had issues with my MacBook Pro (about info below) when participating in a zoom video chat for school. My computer was freezing but I could still hear everything. I couldn't move the mouse and the only way to get out of the screen was to turn the computer off completely. For the rest of the night I had icons disappearing and text boxes/popups were blank. When opening apps, they load in glitchy/broken text pixels and also lag for a long time. Sometimes hulu episodes aren't visible but the audio is still present.

    Per some different internet recommendations I cleared fonts, deleted all unnecessary apps including all adobe creative cloud, checked my activity monitor (nothing seemed out of the ordinary), and used safe mode(?) to see if anything changed before giving up.

    Today I sat on hold for 20 minutes with Apple support but hung up before speaking to anyone because it seemed to be running smoothly this morning. I was hoping it had fixed itself, but no such luck.

    This evening (of course after apple support is done for the day) the glitching is happening again. I am getting the spinning rainbow wheel, text is disappearing again and icons come and go with no clear pattern/program. Photos I attached are from tonight, but I did take some videos from last night. Is it possible I have a virus? and if so, what can I do to clean my computer? is there someway to fix it at home since I can't take it in right now?

    MacBook Pro not reading SD card

    Could anyone help....I have a sd card that my 2018 MBP stopped reading. The card works fine in the camera but will not load up to my laptop. Also if you restart it with the card inside it the laptop doesn't restart. I've tried other cards and they work fine. Any suggestions???

    Apple Movies vs Movies Anywhere

    I buy physical disc and love to collect them. Every time I get a digital code it's sometimes for iTunes or for movies anywhere. The problem I have is that Movies Anywhere gets imported to iTunes HD, SD, Or 4k depending on dvd format. Is there a way to fix all this? All I want is for movies to just be iTunes native. I don't want movies that are in HD and iTunes has 4k version but I can't get the free upgrade in resolution. Is there a way to get movies to be iTunes native? Or what do I do so I will not have movies be in all resolutions. I want movies that are natively supported by iTunes.

    I am unable to install the app Shortcuts (iOS 13.3.1)

    When I got my first phone, I deleted a bunch of apps that I thought I would never use. As it turns out I deleted Shortcuts. And until today I haven't wanted back because I didn't know how to use it. So I tried to redownload it from the AppStore and it would start to download and then a message saying "unable to install shortcuts" would pop up. I am able to download all sorts of other apps. It is only this one that I'm having issues with. I am currently running iOS 13.3.1 on my iPhone 6s which also still has about 40Gb of storage left. The only thing I can think that would be giving me issues is the fact that I have a 3rd party profile on my device. Help is appreciated.

    Best option for running windows only application on MacBook Pro? Boot camp, parallels?

    Hi guys,

    Looking at getting a MacBook pro for work + personal use. However there's one application that can only be downloaded to windows that I need for work, It's MYOB AccountRight. What's my best option? I'm thinking parallels so I can just use that windows tab (potentially drag to another monitor) just for using accountright and access Microsoft office, emails etc from Mac OS?

    Or is this a mission and am I better off going for a windows laptop? Or installing boot camp and using everything through windows there?
