    Hey jailbreakers!

    Welcome to the banner contest for December!

    Do YOU want your design to be featured as the next /r/jailbreak banner? Well now's the time to submit your creations!

    Requirements

    • Should be winter/holiday-themed. The more holiday you include, the better! (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza)

    • Submissions must be sent via PM to /u/jailbreakmods .

    • Submissions left as a comment in this post, sent via PM to any other mod, or sent to modmail will be ignored.

    • Submission PMs must include the words "Banner Submission" in the title.

    • Image cannot be greater than 500 KB in size.

    • 5 Versions must be submitted:

      • Non-retina displays: 2000x200px
      • Retina displays: 4000x400px
      • Redesign: 1920x192px
      • Mobile devices: 640x194px min, 1280x384px max, 10:3 ratio
      • Discord Server: 960x540, 16:9 ratio

    • Banners must be submitted as one Imgur album.

    • The content of the banner must be centered and clearly display the name of the subreddit

    What do I win if my banner is selected?

    The author of the banner that wins the contest receives a personalized "Banner Creator" flair, banner credit in the sidebar, and one month of reddit gold!

    [Release] Choicy: An advanced tweak configurator

    Choicy adds the ability to individually configure tweak injection for applications and daemons. The configuration works by setting either a blacklist of tweaks not to load or a whitelist of the tweaks to exclusively load. Alternatively, it is also possible to disable tweak injection for an individual process altogether. There is also an option to add an application shortcut to launch the application with or without tweaks once.

    Supports iOS 10 and up!

    After 3 days of revoked and could not install from official site , now it able to install and able to re-jailbreak again, I just installed and re-jailbreak my phone 3 minutes before writing this post.

    [Discussion] Jailbroken with checkra1n after many tries; error-31

    I was trying to jailbreak with checkra1n today. I kept getting error-31 repeatedly and after about 14 tries (approx 11 in the morning, 3 at night), I finally jailbroke. Here's the sequence of my events.

    iPhone 6s; USB-A cable connected directly to Mac mini running Mac OS Mojave (10.14.6)

    - did a restore roots from 12.4 unc0ver

    - backed up the phone

    - restore from backup to stock 13.2.2

    - ran checkra1n --> error-31

    - after 2 more tries, plugged into a different USB port, unplugged all external drives and put phone in Airplane mode

    - reran checkra1n --> succesful jailbreak

    - tried to install Cydia but got a bootstrap error for a pending OTA update. Turns out that the phone had already requested an OTA to 13.2.3

    - installed tvOS profile to block OTA updates

    - reran checkra1n 7 more times but always got error-31; tried different cables and everything

    GAVE UP!

    - tried 2 more times after thxgiving dinner --> error-31

    - used ReiBoot to put phone into recovery mode

    - ran checkra1n and let it put the phone into DFU mode

    - JAILBROKEN!!

    Hopefully, this will help somebody. But from what I read, this is really a random thing. I'm sure that if I were to reboot, I wouldn't be able to jailbreak easily. Others have tried manually putting into recovery and then into DFU but that hadn't worked either.

    [request] touch ID swiping gestures

    https://youtu.be/BkOMwA5srfI as on samsung's s8 and s9, swiping on fingerprint sensor is more natural then tapping which dvirtual or the other tweak (i don't remember its name) enables us to. swiping up could be home, swiping down notification center swiping right going back.. i would use it everyday. just an idea...

    [Question] How do I protect my jailbroken devices?

    When you jailbreak your device, you basically have full access. You can change your root password which is important, but I'm asking about something different.

    Is there anything preventing malicious tweaks from hijacking my device? Like when I install a tweak, can it do whatever it wants to my device? If so, is there something I could install that could fix this?

    I've heard of piracy repos editing your host file to block other piracy repos (I don't use pirate repos, but I've heard a lot about malicious ones) and a few years ago there was that one tweak/add-on that stole your Apple ID.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    I have jailbroken before but iphone turned off lost it and noticed uncover was revoked i deleted it and tried multiple sources and none of the downloads work:((

    [question] u0 and checkra1n simultaneously?

    Hello. I'm wondering if I can try checkra1n on my device that i have u0 on. Meaning, I'd turn my phone off so it's not jailbroken, and then JB with checkra1n. I'm on iOS 12.1.2 with an iPhone X. I want to try it and see how I feel about it before I actually upgrade to iOS 13 and lose my ability to use unc0ver. Some insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    [Question]checkra1n DFU instructions not working on iPod Touch 6?

    My iPod Touch 6 updated to iOS 12.4.3 last night, so I tried to use checkra1n. The DFU instructions will not work. I tried another way that worked, but apparently checkra1n doesn't support devices already in DFU mode. Any tips would be cool, thanks
