    [Bug] Battery drain 13.2 - mediaanalysisd, photoanalysisd, spotlight, escrowsecurityalert

    I ran xcode over night ( I can provide log, just let me know) on my iPad which has the same battery drain problem as my iPhone (see here https://www.reddit.com/r/iOSBeta/comments/dgvknz/bug_iphone_pro_11_battery_drain_on_wifi_1312_and/ ). My phone and iPad battery will constantly drain all day (primarily when on wifi and connected to iCloud) and about 25-30% over night. If I sign out of iCloud (or disconnect wifi), my drain will be normal. Memory seems to be utilized fully too. Not sure if that is normal or not

    I ran xcode on my iPad overnight and noticed a few interesting things:

    1. mediaanalysisd ate up 175 minutes of CPU time. When it runs, it will take 80-90% CPU usage, occasionally it would take up 300%+. It runs a lot.
    2. mediaanalysisd ran for almost 2 hour straight at one point.
    3. photoanalysisd ran for 45 minutes straight (90-100% cpu) right before mediaanalysisd ran for 2 hours straight.
    4. Assetsd will occasionally run in parallel or right after mediaanalysisd
    5. Constant network traffic (~35-45kb with spikes up to 95kb)
    6. Spotlight app is constantly running
    7. Escrowsecurityalert app is constantly running (keychain? I have this turned off)

    Any thoughts? I am curious if I can test behavior without being plugged in?

    [Bug] Incorrect haptic touch behavior

    Is anyone noticed that? When im trying to open an app from home screen, instead of opening it, it triggers haptic touch. Or when im trying to upvote a post by swiping from the side haptic touch triggers and it changes the app or opens app switcher. And there's no way to turn off haptic touch. This sucks.

    [BUG] Mics don’t work for phone call but work for video/memos. PB 13.2

    So like 10 minutes ago, I've learned that apparently people can't hear me on phone calls? It's weird because I just got off the phone 15 minutes ago and it was fine.

    Tried calling someone and they couldn't hear me. Reset my phone. Called a friend, they also couldn't hear me.

    I tried speaker and via my headphones, nothing. I also tried a voice memo and recording a video, the microphones worked very well.

    Anyone run into this or know a fix?

    [Bug] PSA: as of iOS 13, Settings > General > Language and Region auto-imports any and all languages you’ve ever previously enabled in your keyboard settings. This can heavily effect auto-correct suggestions, even if the languages are not set up as keyboards.

    Under "Preferred Language Order", I had 6 languages set up, 4 of which only set once as a keyboard for fun. My wife had Spanish added to this list (she doesn't remember ever using a Spanish keyboard), and it was really messing with her auto-correct, suggesting Spanish words even though she didn't have the Spanish keyboard enabled.

    To clarify: it doesn't just include keyboard languages you currently have active. All but two of the languages I had on the list were ones I hadn't had as active keyboards for over a year.

    Go ahead and go here and delete any languages you don't actively type in if you're having persistent auto-correct issues.

    So this year the ultra-wide angle camera is not optically stabilised. Given that it shoots at such a wide angle and from the reviews the digital stabilisation is pretty much as good as you can get, is there a reason or chance that Apple might add OIS to it in the 2020 iPhone? They did that with the telephoto lens moving from the 7 Plus to the X.

    Side note: will Apple change the back design/camera layout of the phone again in 2020 for the "big refresh"? It seems unlikely but then again it's reportedly not an "s" upgrade but a complete overhaul.

    [Question] fixed bugs.. close feedback in feedback app?

    Apple has finally fixed the keyboard Memoji bug, and they finally stay hidden. I have reported it many times in the feedback app and the submissions are still open. Do I just close them or maybe also add a little comment about that it's fixed?

    [BUG] My Apple Music app won’t play any songs. I press a song to play and it keeps going back to “Not Playing”. I’ve tried force quitting the app and restarting, but it still doesn’t work. (iOS 13.2 Beta 2)

    I wonder if anyone has the same problem or a solution as / for me:

    Trying to import music on my iPhone for hours now. Converted ~1300 songs in ALAC and mp3 Tried to import via iTunes and 3u tools. Updated both programms to the latest version.

    3u keeps reporting error code 5998 and iTunes ignores the files when trying to synchronize.
