    I am looking for an app that is easy to use, doesn't cost a ton (Free is better) that is really great to use for flashcards. I am currently using Cardflow but I don't love it (only using free version right now). Any suggestions?

    I know you can detach the keyboard and still access QuickPath but in my opinion it is honestly super dumb that Apple did not program that. It only seems a little lazy to me.

    Tempered glass over cracked screen?

    Hey guys , currently have hairline cracks over my screen and I swear I feel like it's shocking me or something? Was thinking about putting tempered glass over it to make a barrier between fingers and cracked glass as well as a barrier to keep moisture out. Lemme know if you guys think this would work

    Hi guys, so this is a bit outside of the actual topic here, but in an effort of trying to separate my dearly beloved baby iPad I want to decorate the exterior of my keyboard's with oil-based paint and was wondering if anyone had try that before and will it damage the silicon/plastic cover of it?     [Newest Ipad Pro 12.9 1TB] Mouse AND Keyboard don’t work simultaneously

    I bought a ~20 dollar wireless keyboard off amazon and also bought the wireless Apple Magic Mouse 2. I have IpadOS but if I connect both accessories to the Bluetooth, the mouse works great but there's a good 5 - 10 second lag between typing and using the mouse. I'm wondering if there is some sort of Bluetooth interference between the mouse and keyboard, and if should simply invest in a more expensive wireless keyboard ( I don't want to if this is a known problem however).

    Should I buy my 8-year-old daughter an iPad or a Chromebook/Pixelbook

    My daughter has an iPad mini 2 that is getting pretty sluggish so I'm about to upgrade it to a the new iPad, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should get her a Chromebook/pixelbook since she is using them at school and it might be more educational for her.

    Also can someone explain the difference between a Chromebook and Pixelbook?

    Any thoughts?

    QUESTION - Can an iPhone screen be replaced with an iPad screen?

    Per the title, I'm wondering if an iPhone can essentially be turned into an iPad by simply replacing the screen. I'm doubtful for a few reasons, and skeptical that it would be worth the trouble, but curious nonetheless.

    If anyone can offer some insights, anecdotal experiences, or advice on this subject it would be much appreciated.

    12.9 Pro 2018 Bend Almost a year in and one has formed

    I just got myself the Zagg Rugged Book Go, was pretty happy to get rid of the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 case. Just so happens despite very little use, and my anal/OCD care of my products, the structural integrity problem can happen.

    In the first 10 minutes of it's use I put the screen protector on and put it in the Otterbox case. The only thing I did prior to that is make sure mine had no bend issues (which it didn't)

    I never go anywhere, I use the Ipad on my desk and have always been very careful. I called Apple since I have AppleCare but in the end decided against a replacement. I don't trust the next one to not randomly bend despite being in a good case. So I guess I hope they announce a new model this year, and I hope it doesn't have bend issues. I guess I'm going to take a loss and trade in this device.

    I'll provide pictures if asked but the bend starts near the middle (plastic area of the pencil charge section) like you've seen in many other posts. Device works fine but the bend is noticeable.

    My warning to users like me is check your Ipad, the OtterBox Symmetry Series 360 failed to help protect my Ipad.

    On-screen keyboard occasionally won’t show up

    Who's been having this problem?

    I tried turning off bluetooth and force closing all background apps and I also don't use any kind of keyboard, but the only solution is to restart the iPad every single time. It's such a hassle as I need to plug and reconnect my pencil every after restarting.

    I'm using a 2018 9.7 iPad running on iPadOS 13.1.3

    Been experiencing this ever since I updated to iPadOS. The thing is, after the latest update, it fixed all of the bugs except this. Any better solutions other than restarting the device every single time I encounter this?

    Does anyone know a fix for the times when the dock recent app shortcuts become unable to launch the app?

    I've had this happen a few times now - I can long press and get app options, I can also launch the app from the home screens just fine, but the recent app shortcuts don't work in switching me back to the app. If I restart everything goes back to normal until it happens again.

    I'm applying the 13.1.3 across my iPads now and again, after the reboot the iPads on which the shortcuts weren't working now work.

    Any ideas?

    Shortcuts - Automations

    So, I tried to create an automation shortcut. Was simple, or so I thought, when 'bluetooth device' connects to iPad open 'this app'. After two hours on support with Apple we were at reset your iPad. I get the notification that the shortcut has been triggered, but the app won't run. We tried multiple apps without success.

    Thoughts?

    Should I get the iPad 2018 or 2019? I need some SERIOUS help.

    I am a graduating engineering student and I plan on going paperless for my review classes. I was already set to buy the 32GB 2019 iPad and the apple pencil, but my friend told me to buy the 128GB 2018 iPad because they're in the same price range.

    I have been told that the only difference between the two is the extra 1GB RAM for the iPad 2019 and I don't know what it does to the iPad? Bottomline is should I go for the 128GB iPad 2018 or the 32GB iPad 2019? and what does an extra 1GB RAM do??

    Google Photos not working!

    Hey guys,

    I was wondering if any of you have had problems with google Photos. During the last week I've been syncing 20 years of photos from Box Cloud to Google Photos. TBH it's a pain in the ass but have been working...till two days ago. The step by step is to turn the Box folder that contains the photo to "Make content available Offline". After that, I have to go to the files folder, locate the Box folder and download them to the Camera Roll and sync them.

    The issue is they stopped downloading, i press "download x photos" and nothing happens. Sometimes it does download but won't sync and i'm not able to delete them and finally crashes. Only once I reset my ipad I can delete them but still not able to sync. Also, some times not even screenshot or photos taken will get saved. Anybody out there with this proble? Any ideas what I can do??

    TL;DR: Google Photos wont Sync from Camera Roll, crashes and have to reset it.

    Hard to tell if this is a (bad) feature, or a bug

    I need a sanity check, because I can't tell if this is just my iPad or if this is just how iPadOS works now. Dragging from Spotlight into Split View or slide over just... Doesn't work now? UNLESS I have Siri Suggestions on. Which would be fine, except that Siri Suggestions just adds a bunch of crap I have no desire to see into my searches.

    Is this how it works for everyone else, or is my iOS install just broken?
