    Since making the recent tvOS upgrade, I've had several glitches in the smooth operation of the home page scrolling...but the two most annoying problem as with Pandora and IHeartRadio.

    Pandora will play for about 15 minutes and then it crashes and takes the entire Apple TV system down into sleep mode. This is consistent and reproducible

    iHeartRadio in general works fine, however if I select Genres from the main menu and then scroll to the right to view the available options, I am fine until I reach the right edge of the screen. If I scroll one card further to the right, the app crashes - every single time!

    At least it doesn't take the whole system down like Pandora is doing, but still very annoying.

    I have a 4th Gen HD box. It worked perfectly on tvOS 12. Now, all kinds of issues.

    I called apple and their only suggestion thus far was to unplug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in. That didn't help at all.

    Any of the rest of you have any tips or tricks? I doubt this highly, but don't suppose I can downgrade back to tvOS12???? (Just wishful thinking.)

    Hi,

    After searching for a game/channel/stream, it is not possible to select a search result other than the tile in the middle of the top row.

    Just wondering if others have experienced this bug and if a fix is in the works?

    No Family Purchases in itunes movies

    I have my apple tv set up on my account. i got my friend's account setup for itunes movies and TV series. His account is part of a family sharing account where everybody is buying different movies. i can see only what movies and tv series my friend bought and nothing else. On itunes (mac and windows) app, i can see all the family purchases.

    can someone help me understand what i need to do to see everything in the apple tv itunes apps?

    New Feature Idea: FaceTime on AppleTV

    In an effort to combat Amazon, Google, and FaceBook's video calling, Apple should incorporate FaceTime into their next Apple TV hardware upgrade or make it so you can use another Apple device as the camera/microphone and display it full screen onto the AppleTV. They already have a very solid video calling platform. It wouldn't be very advantageous for Apple to add this as a new feature. I bet you several people would adopt this over any other platform just for the privacy you get with Apple.

    Just a thought. If anyone that works at Apple sees this pass the word along as a requested feature.

    Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove advertisements from the Apple TV, like, big screen?

    When I select the AppleTV app I'll get advertisements from shows and stations which I'm not subscribed to (like some show on EPIX or Ballers or whatever). I generally wasn't 100% annoyed until I started getting advertisements for "Young Sheldon" and honestly the fact that CBS can advertise their garbage (but super successful?) programs directly to me really annoys me

    Recommend an ATV remote case that doesn't render inoperable the skip forward/backward functions on the trackpad. Most silicon cases cover the edges of the trackpad, and I use this function all the time to skip forward.

    In light of all the rumor (not a typo) and the "OMG NEW APPEL TV SOON DN'OT BUY A 4K" comments...

    I think it's ridiculous to think that Apple is going to release a new Apple TV before AV1 support is in their chips, it's clearly the future and it's about 2 years out. They would have to come out with one this year or next and then another one a year later - which is dumb, and you'll know it's coming soon because it will show up in the iPhone first.

    The Apple TV runs a lot of Arcade games like crap, but that's not because of the hardware - you have pre-A10 iPads running the same games at 60fps at higher than 1080p with no issue. It's optimization that needs to be sorted out, we don't need a whole new Apple TV. The 13.2 beta already is showing improvement in several games.

    Also don't forget that the "rumors" were just one post from one guy on Twitter who was quickly disproven.

    Prime App

    I subscribe to Amazon Prime. My wife and I have been watching Parks and Rec on and off for a few weeks now, and not once has the app remembered our place.

    Every time we turn the show on it starts us two seasons back and forgets our place.

    Tonight the app just crashes every time we try to open it. Anyone else experiencing this stuff?

    TVOS 13 trouble with menu button

    All of my Apple TV 4K boxes have intermittent trouble with the menu button. The indicator light shows that a button press was received but it won't respond. Short press or long. I have to unplug the box to get it to come back. I've tried the software remote on my phone too. Once it's unresponsive it won't come back. Anyone else having this issue?

    AppleTV goes to sleep while playing music on AirPlay after tvOS update

    I normally play music from my phone on my 4th gen AppleTV via AirPlay. After the tvOS update, the AppleTV has been turning itself off seemingly due to inactivity, even though there's music playing. This didn't happen before the update. Anyone else? I "fixed it" by changing the sleep timer to 1hr instead of 15 min.

    Trouble connecting game controllers

    Is anyone else have trouble pairing an Xbox one controller with the Apple TV? I have 3 different controllers I have tried putting into pairing mode but none of them ever come up under the Bluetooth settings. I hold the pair button after turning the controller on and the light starts to blink fast as it should but the controllers just never come up on the screen. Do I have to unpair the controllers from the Xbox first? I unplugged the Xbox hoping that would help and nothing changed.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Solved: my old controllers, even the elite controller, do not actually have Bluetooth capability.

    No English audio on Toy Story 4 purchase?

    Just bought this movie through ITunes on AppleTV 4K - Video plays fine but no english audio at all. Spanish plays fine though. Tried it on a regular Apple TV 4 (not 4K) and works totally as it should. No issues at all with any other iTunes movies or shows or anything else on the Apple TV through any app. Restarted several times to no avail. Any ideas?

    I have had my Apple TV 4K for almost two years and have not had any issues. Today I tried turning it on and the light turns on, but no video and no audio. I've tried restarting with the buttons, unplugging the power cord and HDMI cord and tried a different HDMI cord. Nothing is working.

    Hoping someone has a solution!
