Macbook Air 2019 1440 x 900 resolution? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 07:30 PM PDT I'm too familiar with technicalities but I thought the 2018-19 Air had a 2560 x 1600 resolution? But when I went on a web checker it said my resolution scale was 1440 x 900? I'm on the use "default for display" option [link] [comments] |
Firefox finally usable on macOS Posted: 22 Oct 2019 09:45 PM PDT Mozilla just released the Firefox 70 update which reduces power consumption and makes it so your mac no longer turns into a jet engine when using it. If anyone else is like me, forced to Chrome/Safari when switching to macOS, we can finally use Firefox again. But even if you're not, there's now another viable browser option. [link] [comments] |
How to use split view with just one window? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 11:08 AM PDT I'm trying to force Chrome to take up the left half of my screen, but it's forcing me to choose another window to take up the right side, otherwise Chrome will just become full screen. Any way to get around this? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Gonna buy a MacBook for school Posted: 22 Oct 2019 12:32 PM PDT I need help deciding whether to buy the air or the pro. I'll mainly be using it for textbooks and digital drawings. Next year I'm gonna start using CAD and Fusion , but nothing hectic , not sure which device would be best. [link] [comments] |

What can I do to change that? I don't understand Thank you! [link] [comments] |
MacBook Pro 2018 overheat when connect USBC device Posted: 22 Oct 2019 06:38 AM PDT I have MacBook Pro 2018 13 inch whenever I connect a USB C device the laptop gets very hot on the side I connect it like a USB Hard disk and cools down as I disconnect the heat comes near the port on the speakers over the port and I tried so many devices from USB flash drive to USB disk and USB HUB and all the same the device get hot too quickly and laptop get hot on the side of port even most of time there is enough space that make it impossible for heat to become to much the problem is not the room temp as it never happens while USB is disconnected I can't use my USBs as I care not to cause harm to my expensive device is it a global issue or should I contact PS. I did a clean Install of macOS Catalina and I use only legit apps no pirated stuff ever Thanks [link] [comments] |
