    Is a proper shuffle system too much to ask for. I have 600+ songs and I hear the same 50 everyday. It's so bad that I want Spotify but it isn't available in my region. When I search for songs, I'm surprised to see that I have them downloaded because I never hear them.

    I have an iPhone 8 Plus, my husband and sister have newer iPhones. One has the XR and the other has the XS. I'm trying to figure out why every picture and video they send me is blurry or pixelated. They look totally fine on their end and my videos/pictures to them are totally fine.

    I just got an iPhone XR after my iPhone 7 Plus broke. I've always listened to my music when my phone is locked perfectly fine. Now I'm on iOS 12.1.2, and whenever I play music and lock my phone, the music will either suddenly stop, or stop when the first song ends. One of said apps gives an error, which says "The file could not be played because you don't have permission to view it" even though it works perfectly fine when playing music in the background when my phone is on

    Just wondering how many people that use google services (i.e gmail, google cal, contacts, etc) use the stock apps (mail.app and cal) vs the App Store google equivalents. Also does anyone use google photos over iCloud photos? Thanks.

    I lost my phone!�� (please read the rest!)

    I had an iPhone XR and I think someone pickpocketed me. They went up to some train tracks and turned the whole phone off. I don't know how to track it now. I don't have google maps but is there any way to find the location history of the phone so I know where and when it was stolen. I know this is choppy but I can answer any questions about this. I would appreciate anybody's help. Thank you!!!

    I recently noticed that if someone with an iPhone sends me a picture, and I save it to my phone, it will tell me the time the picture was taken. It used to say the time I saved the picture when I looked in my Library, but now it says the time they took it.

    I do not know if I just never saved a picture from someone who also had an iPhone, but help? I don't want my pictures showing the time I took them if I send a pic to someone. Is there a way of turning this off?

    What recourse do I have to get an app store purchase refunded?

    Edit: Nevermind, did live chat support, apple refunded the app. I thought this was going to be an uphill battle. Still ridiculous that apple automatically refuses refund requests.

    TLDR: Bought app that didn't work. I request refund from apple and was immediately refused as it "doesn't meet the conditions for a refund." What is a practical next step so that I can get a refund?

    I purchased the app blink shell in Australia region. This app is interesting in that it is open source but is sold on the app store. I could have built it and run on my iPhone but that would require a developer licence ($141AUD) and so it's clearly cheaper to buy the app ($31AUD).

    In any case blink provides several utilities. Their flagship utility mosh, a roaming ssh client, does not work when initiating connections over wifi. This is not due to external factors (network, firewall, etc.) but with the program itself, as I'm able to use mosh from my laptop fine.

    I had a timely need for this app and since it didn't work for my purpose, I'm no longer interested in having it. If it worked from the get go, I would've kept it. I don't consider it a case of buyers remorse.

    Anyway, I went to https://reportaproblem.apple.com and requested a refund giving them the explanation that it didn't work as advertised and the request was immediately refused with: "We've determined that your purchase doesn't meet the conditions for a refund" and a link to their terms and conditions.

    I tried to read the T&C but couldn't find anything remotely useful about app store refunds. It doesn't even say that sales are final. Not sure if Australia Consumer Law applies here, but this might be a case that the app is "not fit for purpose" which should entitle me to a refund. But anyway, legal stuff aside, what is a pragmatic next step?

    iPhone 6 Plus Blank screen after unlock

    My father is law is having a strange issue with his iPhone 6 Plus it was randomly showing a blank screen after he was unlocking it. To fix this he would just lock the phone again and unlock it to get the home screen back.

    I thought this might have been a bug with 12.1.2 so I updated to 12.2 and now it's permanently showing a blank screen instead of the home screen the unlock screen is fine no flickering or colour blotches that would indicate a faulty screen. I have also managed to ring out using Siri so the functionality of the phone is fine.

    The blank screen isn't solid black it's like the backlight is lit but there's nothing on the home screen it's almost a grey colour.

    I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and has found a fix. Any help would be massively appreciated.

    Voice Memo App showing 'Ghost Data"

    Voice memo app(stock voice recorded app in ios) on my iphone is showing 237MB of ghost data. I have deleted all of the voice recording, also cleared the recently deleted. I did the same thing in my Macbook Pro, as i have icloud sync and backup enabled. I also looked into my icloud data to find any voice recording/memo file left. But still i couldn't find a solution.
    IS THERE NO WAY TO SOLVE THIS OTHER THEN UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING THE APP?

    Iphone X (brand new) running extremely hot at basic tasks

    I got a brand new iPhone X on Tuesday and while I'm in camera app(not recording video) it gets really hot(I cannot hold it) and while playing pubg/fortnite it gets hot very quickly(in like 2 minutes). I'd guess it reaches over 60 degrees Celsius(140 Fahrenheits), and idk if its normal in first few days or it's a hardware problem. I restarted it several times but the issue is still not fixed. Did anyone else have similar experience? What can I do to solve this?

    Did someone try to unlock my phone?

    I went to shower today and left my phone on the charger in Do Not Disturb mode, when I came back it said I needed to input my passcode to use TouchID.

    I'd suspect my dad to have tried to unlock it while I was gone, is this possible? (He doesn't know how to use iPhones, not even that you have to press the Home Button to get to the passcode screen)

    Are there any other reasons why the phone asked for my passcode?
