- Just FYI, Frys Electronics has a lot of the older style and colors of the official Apple Watch bands still. My local store has a selection of the woven nylon and some discontinued colors of the sport band and such. Don’t know why, but figured I’d pass the message along!

Posted: 25 Apr 2019 01:39 PM PDT Just recovering from surgery and freaked myself out trying to get in bed (never mind, it's harder than you think!) and the watch caught it. [link] [comments]

For everyone owning a series 4 alu version who's scared of scratches Posted: 26 Apr 2019 05:14 AM PDT I have my series 4 for about 2 weeks now, and I bumped against tables and closets so many times. Every time checking my watch in a panic because I read so many stories of watches getting scratched by only looking at them. One day the 100-pound dog of a friend tried to give me a paw, and his nails scratched over the watch, I could hear it clearly and loud. And guess what, not a single scratch or dent. Maybe I'm lucky and yeah, probably posting this here will get me my first scratch tomorrow. But please, don't panic about using the watch, it can have some bumps. [link] [comments]

Should I upgrade from S0 to S4 Posted: 26 Apr 2019 07:37 AM PDT I'm having a hard time coming off the $500+ dollars to upgrade my watch. I've had my S0 since Oct '15. It's slow and can't fit any apps but it still does what I need it to do. Check notifications, time, weather, track activity. I'm just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat and if so what are the best reasons to upgrade in your experience? Obviously the S4 will be faster, have a bigger screen, track activity better and the cellular option will be nice. Is answering the phone on it better because that was always basically useless on the S0? [link] [comments]
Anyone else notice unusual heart rate spikes when putting the watch on? Posted: 26 Apr 2019 07:31 AM PDT I take my watch off when I shower in the morning (even though I know I could keep it on—I just prefer to shower without it). Since the last update specifically I have noticed these weird heart rate spikes that correspond in time with when I put my watch back on after the shower. They don't happen every day, but maybe every 2/3 days. The spike will put my heart rate typically in the 190-200 range—and then the next reading is back to normal. I know my actual HR is not that high. This doesn't seem to happen other times when I put the watch on and wonder if anyone else has noticed this behavior. It is too strongly correlated to this specific set of circumstances (putting it on right after morning shower) to be coincidental. Has anyone else noticed these strange spikes and/or been able to coordinate them with putting on the watch? [link] [comments]
Complication for both calendar and reminders Posted: 26 Apr 2019 03:01 AM PDT Any 3rd party complication that shows both calendar and reminders combined in the same complication? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Apr 2019 06:44 AM PDT I just downloaded theScore to my S3 and it won't load. All that pops up on the screen is "off-season" rather than any scores or info. I tried deleting and reinstalling but that didn't work. Any guidance? [link] [comments]

Why does charger have a “no trash” icon? Posted: 26 Apr 2019 05:06 AM PDT What is in an Apple Watch charger that leads the company to put that "don't throw this in the trash" icon on the charger? [link] [comments]

Who supplies high quality straps in the UK? Posted: 26 Apr 2019 01:10 AM PDT I'm after a strap for my new AW4 for more professional occasions (got it with the sport loop for workouts) and I want something either like the Apple Milanese loop or something in leather. Most of the Amazon/eBay suppliers look to be pretty cheap and poor quality. Who supplies high quality straps at not quite the eye watering prices of Apple? [link] [comments]
Apple Watch locking at night - Autosleep Posted: 26 Apr 2019 04:16 AM PDT I track my sleep with Autosleep and wear my watch4 at night in bed. Occasionally my watch locks at night. Autosleep stops tracking my sleep when the watch is locked. I have passcode and wrist detection (both are required for Autosleep to track sleep). I have a nike sportloop and i wear my watch tight on my wrist. I have tried to get my watch locked while wearing, but i can not get that many space between my wrist and the watch to get it locked, no matter how hard i pull it. So i dont understand how my watch gets locked during the night. Anyone experience the same? [link] [comments]
[Apple Watch Issue] Spotif or Apple Music Posted: 26 Apr 2019 03:56 AM PDT Hi guys! I have an important question. Many of my friends want to share a family Spotif account. It is very interesting for the price. Spotify seems great because there is (may be) better recommendation than Apple Music. All is great. But, but, I have an Apple Addict. So, I have an iPhone, MacBook Air and Apple Watch. Apparently, there is no offline playback with Spotify on the Watch (when I run for example without my phone). So I have many doubts of my decision. What I have to do? Is there a twist to listin offline playblack? Or finally, I have to refuse and try Apple Music? Thanks for your answer! [link] [comments]
Did you care if you got an aluminum or stainless steel case? Posted: 25 Apr 2019 08:08 PM PDT Kind of a dumb question because price and first time on this sub but what made you decide to get stainless rather than aluminum? Is it a sharper look with less likely to get scratches? I'm not sure which one I want to buy for myself later on but I am interested in your thoughts! [link] [comments]
I think haptic alerts have gotten smarter lately Posted: 25 Apr 2019 02:06 PM PDT Has anyone else noticed that alerts sometimes cause a more prominent 3 or 4 beat alert, I think it happens if a notification comes in while I'm moving. Whereas if I'm sitting still its the same old haptic feeling. I'm guessing they're using the accelerometer etc. to decide when the alert needs to be more prominent. I have always had my watch on mute so this is a really welcome change in my book! [link] [comments]
Regarding the "Time to stand!" notification Posted: 25 Apr 2019 12:36 PM PDT Isn't it weird that the Apple Watch still reminds you to stand up while in Theater Mode? It doesn't make too much sense... [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Apr 2019 09:28 PM PDT I know the recommend against using with soap. Anyone use their Series 3 or Series 4 in a restaurant kitchen including several hours a week as the dishwasher? How's it holding up? [link] [comments] |
