Posted: 19 Feb 2019 03:56 PM PST What are some of your favourite iOS games that are still available to download? Stuff that people may have missed the first time around? My personal favourites are: Wedding Escape - a twist on match 3 with super cute unlocks Galaxy Trucker Pocket - board game port, build ships and battle space pirates Devil's Attorney - courtroom strategy game with a great theme song, this game was recently updated to work past iOS 12.x I have a ton more old favourites, but I'd love to hear some of yours. Searching for build up strategy game Posted: 20 Feb 2019 04:09 AM PST Hi, I'm searching for a build up strategy game. The game should be a full price game, so without in game money that I have to buy. Something similar to the settlers or civilization. Has anyone a recommendation? Many thanks [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Feb 2019 09:20 AM PST Hey everyone! Years ago I used to play this game on my iPad and I loved it until my iPad broke. The game wasn't available on iPhone, but I remember it was available on steam I think. But now I can't find it. I don't remember the name, but here are the details. It was a top down pixel art game. You were in a spaceship that got attacked by aliens/monsters and you had to choose a team of 1-4(I think) different "hero's" out of many. You would level them up and they would all have special abilities and uses. You would start in one room of the spaceship and you would open a room and explore the spaceship room by room until you found the exit to the next floor. Each time you opened a room you had a chance of spawning monsters from all over the spaceship, in each room you have already opened. So you had to set up your team in various spots to defend against them. You had to set up a little base with turrets and defense points. You could find merchants along the way and buy new gear. You had to collect gold and other materials to update your hero's. It was a hell of a hard game. And super fun. Anyone know? [link] [comments]

Trying to find an indie Japanese game? Posted: 19 Feb 2019 01:03 PM PST A few weeks ago, somebody retweeted a link to an iOS game by a Japanese creator. Definitely an auteur-like single author. I think they went under a pseudonym. I'm 90+% sure they were Japanese and their pseudonym was a Japanese name, but it might have been somewhere else in eastern Asia. The game was available on the US App Store in English. I believe the title was a Japanese word, but written in Roman alphabet (i.e. not Japanese writing). I don't remember too much about the game, except that the screenshots and landing page had a really distinctive pixel art style. IIRC it had strong narrative elements, but wasn't strictly a narrative game. Clicking through to the developer's home page, they had maybe 3-4 iOS games, all with a similar visual style. It cost maybe $1.99 or $2.99, but I sadly couldn't buy it due to some shenanigans with my iTunes credit card setup. Since then, I've been unable to find it or the tweet or find anything about the gam. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? (To head off common replies of other 'quirky' indie Japanese games: it's neither Hidden My Game By Mom, nor by Onion Games) [link] [comments]
What games got some good iOS ports? Posted: 19 Feb 2019 05:36 PM PST War Of The Lions is the only non-iOS game on my tablet and it feels sort of out of place. Are there any other solid console releases that got ported over to the iPad? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Feb 2019 01:20 PM PST I'm looking for maybe something like hand of fate 2, where I can make a character and make text based choices and dice rolls and some kind of RPG system. What are my options? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Feb 2019 10:53 AM PST Is there any game comparable to spellbreak in the App Store? You know, be Battle Royal where you play a Battle mage [link] [comments] |
