| How do I add Netflix activity to the TV app? Posted: 22 Feb 2019 04:54 PM PST I clicked "No" when the Apple TV asked if I wanted to track Netflix's activity, so none of the shows I watch end up in the TV app. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Netflix app doesn't re-prompt me. | Music app not playing selected song? Posted: 22 Feb 2019 04:51 PM PST Does anyone else have the issue that I'm having at the moment? I'm trying to play music from the music app on my Apple TV 4, but if I go into an album/playlist and select a song, it will only play the first song in the list. I then have to scroll through to find the song that I want. I've tried restarting the app, the ATV and be TV, and my ATV is fully up to date. | Posted: 22 Feb 2019 05:12 AM PST I moved my Apple TV from one room to another, and connected it to my second TV. It works perfectly on all the other TVs i've tried it on, but i'm not getting any picture on this one, despite it saying i'm connected to Apple TV ("HDMI 1 - Apple TV" in the top left corner). I can control the volume with my Apple remote. I have tried different HDMI cables, different HDMI outputs and the "menu + volume" search option. Does my Toshiba Regza TV not support this device, or is there another solution to this? Thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||

I'm currently using iPlaytv and is currently the only one that is close to being remote friendly, but does anyone know any apps that have multiple guides (wife, kids, sports, locals) and simple channel up and down or sorting or grouping that you can customize so you don't have to spend 20 minutes trying to find what you want? | Apple TV 4K - Remote Not Connecting to all Devices Posted: 22 Feb 2019 06:21 AM PST It's very inconsistent meaning sometimes it works, and then just randomly sometimes it doesn't. I'm trying to control my tv, soundbar, and appletv 4k with the apple remote. I want to be able to hit "Menu" on the remote and all 3 turn on and function properly including adjusting volume. I've checked the setting on atv menu to allow it to control devices. I have all brand new stuff. Sony x900 tv, sony Z9F soundbar. I have the soundbar connected via arc HDMI and then the apple tv connected to one of the HDMI connections for HDR Am i missing something or is something just defective? It's weird that it's not consistent. Could i be the cables themselves? They are older cables. [link] [comments]  |
