| Looking for a good group game to play over a period of time with ppl I know Posted: 30 Jan 2019 07:02 AM PST Looking for a relatively simple game that a group of 4-5 people can play over time. I'm thinking maybe a golf game would work, but doesn't have to be golf. Basically the perfect situation would be everyone takes some sort of turn and then can put their phone away. Hour or so later unlock phone and it's probably their turn again, then put their phone away. IE not something where you have to sit there phone unlocked and complete a game [link] [comments]  | ||

I like games like gloomhaven or mage knight for actual board games. I like complex with nice character building. Legacy type game with a overarching campaign would be fantastic. | Need Help to Find Name of a Classic Game Posted: 29 Jan 2019 11:46 PM PST I've been trying to find the name of a game that I use to play many years ago. I've looked quite a bit but cannot find it. Hopefully someone here can help me find this game. It is a game were you are a founder of a village and have to farm for resources in a Bejeweled like style. Each mini game of farming has seasons (starting at spring & ending in winter) were the player had to match as many resources (grass, trees, apples, carrots, cows etc) within each season. Animals, such as rats & wolves, appear & destroy the resources but there were items that could be used to elimiy the animals. There is also mining which plays the same as the farming mini game. With the resources, the player builds buildings or upgrades their building & gains experience & tools from their buildings. It's been a long time since I've played it so I described it as best as I could. I believe it was a popular app back in the day so odds are someone knows what it is. Edit: The game has been found! I don't blame him, I got it on sale. Well I just found Space Marshals, the orginal is on sale for 99 cents, and the sequel is $4.99 IIRC, and I wanted to refer it to them. I couldn't find find the post, and I went through over a month of replies to me and didn't see his. Anyone have this thread handy?
