Is the globe complication animated? Posted: 30 Jan 2019 03:32 AM PST Im a big fan of the globe complication: https://i.imgur.com/7PVUbWX.jpg Last week, it started being animated everytime the screen came on. The sun/shadow border spun and landed on the current time. This gave my watchface a lot of life, and I supposed they did an update. But now its back to being static again, unless I go into edit mode. Is this a feature I dont know about? [link] [comments]

Picking the optimal wrist band Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:45 AM PST Hey! I was wondering which wrist band to buy. I'm doing a lot of sport and I'm also going to wear the watch at night so that I can track my sleep. So the bands should be sweat resistant and not start smelling after a few months. What would you recommend? [link] [comments]

iMessages Sounds From iPhone to Apple Watch? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 05:52 PM PST On my iPhone I have a number of different text tones for different people. From this I could quickly tell who was messaging me without even looking at the phone. I recently got an Apple Watch. Is it possible to have different sounds for different contacts on the Apple Watch? All of the messages sound the same and I no longer hear the sound on my iPhone (if it goes to the watch). Is there a way to remove/disable the Find iPhone button in Control Center? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 10:05 PM PST My Series 4 keeps accidentally triggering Find iPhone while under my shirt cuff, making my phone start flashing and beeping in the middle of work, meetings, etc. Is there a way to disable this button or remove it from the Apple Watch Control Center? Posted: 30 Jan 2019 12:27 AM PST Hello All, I'm looking for some help locating my watch. I left for a trip last week and didn't bring the watch, but now that I'm back, I can't find the darn thing. Find my iPhone just shows offline for the watch and the only clue I think I have is this activity page. My question to you watch experts is... can data on this page mean I wore the watch at that time? Because then that can help me retrace my steps that day. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]

Is there a way to create your own watch face Posted: 29 Jan 2019 08:21 PM PST Hey, I recently picked up a series 3 Nike watch. I love it but hate the fact that you have to have the run club app on the watch face. I'm not a runner. I'd love to replace that icon with something else. Help ?? [link] [comments]
Use LTE watch to stream Spotify Posted: 29 Jan 2019 09:36 PM PST Hey all, I'm not new to Apple Watch, just to the LTE enabled version. I upgraded earlier today from a series 2 I am wondering if it is possible to use the Apple Watch to stream my Spotify library without having it connected to my phone? If streaming is not available, am I able to somehow save playlists to the watch? I'm not the best with tech nowadays. I can fix an engine now problem, but simple tech stuff doesn't mix well with me. I did a search and couldn't find anything, so I apologize if this has already been asked and answered [link] [comments]

What BT range do you get between your AW4 and iPhone 8 (or above). Posted: 29 Jan 2019 04:27 PM PST Because these are both Bluetooth 5.0 what range can you expect. For example if I leave my iPhone on the beach and take my Apple Watch in the surf would they be in range of one another? [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jan 2019 05:28 PM PST Living on the east coast, I've noticed that the heating builds up static electricity on light switches (nothing I hate more than a zap to the fingertips when walking into the bathroom half asleep, in the mornings). Recently got a watch and noticed this happens when I place the watch onto the charger. It's a loud, visible zap to the fingertips. Anyone else?🤔 [link] [comments]

Anybody else’s watch 2 becoming really slow and almost useless? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 10:07 PM PST I'm on 5.1.1 and afraid to update because I'm scared it might make it slower. I have reset it, turned on and off, and no difference. It takes almost 5-15 seconds for anything to do something that sometimes I have to repeat the same action to register. If I swipe between faces, it takes a while and lags terribly. The complications take forever to update even with my phone nearby. For example, I started playing a song on my watch. Halfway through I want to pause it and when I look at the Playing Now app on the watch, it just shows the last song I played and tapping play and pause does nothing. It wouldn't update and kept looking like no song was playing. And it's even worse when I'm working out. I have to swipe multiple times to get between the workout screen and music screen on the workout app and it does it really slow and laggy. Playing play and pause takes a few seconds to register and change the icon to play/pause. When trying to go next or back on songs, it doesn't register and I have to push the button again in which now it does it twice and skips a song. Force touching is worse. It sometimes does nothing and then can take 5-20 seconds to actually show what it's supposed to. Sometimes I have to repeat the same action. Siri sucks ass. Gets stuck at "will tap when I'm ready" and sits there for over a minute. Then it will say something went wrong. Even though my phone is nearby and fully connected to the internet. Raising my arm sometimes does nothing. About 40% of the time. Especially when I'm working out it's annoying. This might be normal, but raising the watch does nothing when I'm laying down. Using the messages app is just so bad. Scribbling to write letters is so laggy that it barely registers letters correct. The worse thing is did was I used the microphone to send a message. The screen didn't update with what i said. It just didn't do anything. After a minute of a black screen, I pushed the back button and went to scribble the letters. Halfway through, the screen dismissed itself and the original message got sent. Anybody else? Or is the watch just too old. [link] [comments]

THE ULTIMATE Leather Watch Strap for Watch. Posted: 29 Jan 2019 05:45 PM PST So I've been an Apple Watch user for nearly 3 Years now, I've never owned a leather strap. Apple have discontinued most of their leather options, and I want to know what is the BEST Leather Strap money can buy and WHY? Thanks :) [link] [comments] |
