    I've just jailbroke with Electra after waiting for a few months to do it. I was jailbroken about 8 months ago but I eventually restarted my iPhone and the electra app wasn't being signed anymore, and I didn't bother to re-do the jailbreak. I just redid it and was wondering what essential tweaks I may want to install. I've been out of the scene for a while and I'm not sure if safe mode or no substrate mode comes with the jailbreaks or what I should do next before I start downloading more trivial tweaks.     Hello,

    I messed up my iPhone, with the RootFS. - now my iPhone only shows the apple logo and continue reboot in an endless loop.

    My iPhone will not be recognized by FindMyIphone.

    Is there anything else that I can do? And yes, I did all the basic things, with hard reset etc, no luck.

    [Request] An Amiibo NFC Writer/Emulator

    We've made tonnes of progress on NFC so far on iOS devices. Android is perfectly capable of NFC writing for Amiibo purposes, and I feel like emulation for Amiibo is just around the corner. This would be AWESOME!

    [Help] Random reboots with unc0ver.

    Every version or unc0ver i've used has had random freezes which lead to reboots. Used the increase memory usage switch as well and still does it. Unloaded VSD and still does it. Ran rollectra yesterday and just experienced another freeze forcing me to reboot.

    I have renamed videosubscriptionsd (which is not recommended by many) but still had one freez yesterday. Crashreporter told me it was some 'assetsd' daemon. Anyone else had issue with this daemon?

    How do I do this? I've seen posts about having to check restore rootfs and I'm wondering if I should do the same in order to update. All I've been seeing are bootloops caused by that option as well.

    [Help] Changing Passcode after Rollectra (11.4b3)

    A little bit of backstory,

    I am currently on 11.4b3, and once I saw the unc0ver jailbreak I was ecstatic. I Rollectra'd following the recommended steps to "upgrade" to u0. Clearing any Electra files, disabling Find my iPhone, and removing a passcode to prevent the completed loop. Upon trying to jailbreak, I found out that it is still unable to be used with b3, so I Rollectra'd again to remove any traces of u0 and proceeded to re-jailbreak with Electra VFS. All was well, used a Flame Export to restore my sources and packages. I have Passby installed to alleviate having to type my passcode in while at home or connected to my car. I re-added a passcode that was not my original password from the first duration of Electra I used before u0 came out. I previously used the same 4 digit password I have had since I got my iPhone 8, but I thought it was time for a security upgrade to a 6 digit passcode.

    Now here's the buggy part.

    At some point after creating the new password, my phone consistently went straight into the "iPhone is disabled" prompt as if my passcode was typed incorrectly as soon as I woke up my device, without pressing or typing anything. It kept increasing the time of my device, and for fear of losing all of my data, I rebooted my device. Re-ran Electra and everything was fine for the rest of the day. The next day, the same problem persisted. I again, rebooted my device and once re-jailbroken, I re-installed Passby and searched Cydia and installed NoMoreDisabled to prevent having to reboot my device. A couple of hours later, instead of bringing up the "iPhone is disabled" text. It would not accept my passcode at all. The text read "In order to use Touch ID, you must first type in your passcode" as if my Touch ID didn't recognize my fingerprint, but now it was not registering my passcode. Now I know what you are thinking, maybe I forgot my new passcode. I can assure you that I made a pattern that was easy to remember for me. After about 20 attempts, I gave my device a rest. Maybe about 3-5 wake attempts over the course of an hour, my device finally recognized my passcode, and I immediately went to restore my passcode to the original 4 digit passcode I previously used. So far, it has been over a day and a half and my device hasn't "soft locked" yet.

    TL;DR

    Either,

    1. Passby had my previous passcode somewhere saved and kept thinking I had a 4 digit passcode instead of the new 6 digit passcode.
    2. Applying a (different) passcode into your device after jailbreaking Electra without one can cause problems.
    3. Simply changing your passcode to something new between different Electra installs with Rollectra in the middle can cause problems.
    4. 11.4b3 can be extremely buggy with multiple jailbreaks. Note: I did try u0 with numerous releases to no avail.

    I just wanted to share this with the community, to see if anyone has had this issue, or can give some insight as to what may have caused this.

    In ios12 before you unlock your device, you get a weather report of todays temperature with the conditions etc. once you phone unlocked once, it disappears until the next morning. Would love to have this for ios11 as well, preferably without using the buggy xenhtml.
