    I know you are all excited about the iPads and Macs. In order to avoid ton of "not jailbreak related" posts on /r/jailbreak and to keep a discussion about the new iPads between jailbreakers, we decided to create this megathread.

    [News] iOS 12.1 SEP is still compatible with iOS 11.3 - 11.4.1 (and 11.3b5 - 11.4b3) on A7 - A8 device!

    I've been tried re-restore my iPhone 5s to iOS 11.3.1 with iOS 12.1 SEP, it succeeded and had working TouchID.

    Apparently latest signed iOS 12.0.1 / 12.1 SEP is compatible with iOS 11.3 - 11.4.1 on A7 - A8 device only, which is:

    • iPhone 5s

    • iPhone 6

    • iPhone 6+

    • iPad Air 1 - 2

    • iPad Mini 2 - 4

    • iPod 6th

    But not for A9 - A11 device which is iPhone 6s / iPhone SE / iPhone 6s+ / iPhone 7 / iPhone 7+ / iPhone 8 / iPhone 8+ / iPhone X / iPad 5 / iPad 6 / iPad Pro and later, because latest signed iOS 12.0.1 / 12.1 SEP isn't compatible with iOS 11.3 - 11.4.1 on A9 - A11 device ...

    Edit:

    Another test, i think iOS 12.1 SEP is still compatible with unsigned iOS 12.0 (and 12.0.1) on all device (except iPhone X). Tested on my iPhone 5s restoring to iOS 12.0 / 12.0.1 with iOS 12.1 SEP on latest Futurerestore (v173/178), it succeeded and had working TouchID.

    [Discussion] Of all the things to emulate or steal from JB, why hasn’t apple copied Activator?

    A basic version of Activator would make them seem "innovative" and would also reduce demand for jailbreaking. And as we know from assistive touch shortcuts and the "back" quick links in the status bar, it would be very easy to do because hints of it have already existed in stock iOS for years. It's probably the best "app" I have ever used, and i'm sure many on the later jailbreaks miss it. So what about it scares apple?

    I have an old iPhone 4S that hasn't been touched in years, and when I charged it and turned it on it says that it's been disabled for 24 million minutes.

    I have stuff on there I would like to access or retrieve. How would I go about doing that? I don't want to reset it or I'll lose all my data.

    Hi! So I've had my replacement iPhone 6s since around March. I've been jailbroken since then since it came with 11.0. Then I later upgraded to 11.3.1 and then From Electra to Unc0ver. I noticed about a month ago my battery health was around 96. Today when I checked it was at 92. Is this a side effect of the jailbreak? I still have warranty so would I be able to get it replaced under warranty? Thanks!
