Posted: 10 Oct 2018 07:53 AM PDT Hi everyone, I hope this is the appropriate sub for this question. My aunt is disabled and about to enter a permanent care facility. When she was in her own home, she loved to play "Age of Mythology" and "Zeus" on her PC. She cannot bring her PC with her, so we are exploring options to get her in the care facility. I'm totally out of the loop on modern games (the last game I played seriously on a PC was Diablo 2, so....), so I'm exploring our options. One option is an iPad, which would be particularly useful for her particular condition. So my questions are: 1) Are there games like Zeus and Age of Mythology for iOS? 2) Are they reasonably easy to get, use, install for someone who is not particularly tech savvy? (I live in another state, and the rest of my family can barely use their phones) 3) is there another option I should consider for a bedridden person? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks everyone. Posted: 10 Oct 2018 05:10 AM PDT Games which don't have scummy paywalls. Anime style games preferred but open to all other than the obvious 2: PUBG and Fortnight. [link] [comments]

Competitive games with leaderboards? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 01:47 PM PDT I've played hearthstone on/off since release and love the 1v1 competitive aspect and ranking up the leaderboards. I'm looking for something similar that I can play in short 5-10 minute bursts and work my way on ranking up or progressing. I prefer turn based strategies but it doesn't have to be limited to that, I'm willing to give anything a shot. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]
Does anyone have an old .IPA of Fix-It Felix Jr.? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 10:06 PM PDT This game is no longer on the app store and the latest version is missing iCade support. I need to find version 1.1. Does anyone have this? Any help will be appreciated! [link] [comments]
Any good IDLE games that you need to check once every while? Posted: 09 Oct 2018 03:23 PM PDT Hi there, I have an office job and suffering from ADHD (sort of). I focus best when I switch between tasks. Any games that you could check every few mins (or once every hour) to progress? Idle Heroes is a good game that I recently picked up and enjoying but the timer is too long - I only play 5~10minutes per day doing daily quests. Any suggestions? :) would prefer online game and I don't mind p2w or freemium as long as they can distract me every few mins/hours. Cheers! [link] [comments]

Looking for simple yet intriguing timekillers, preferably ones that can be played in portrait mode. Posted: 09 Oct 2018 02:20 PM PDT Title pretty much says it all, at this point I will try anything at all, it feels like I've searched for years to find perfect one. To give you some kind of a direction: current game I play daily is Merge Plane, I like the "infinite" aspect, graphics are nice and game plays smoothly. I liked Tetris Blitz a lot too but it got stale quite fast. So basically I need good feel of progression to keep playing. Thanks for your time. EDIT: I would prefer paid games over free ones, mainly for quality and not having to deal with ads but as I said I will try everything. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Oct 2018 10:39 PM PDT I used to play Epic Hero's by LOCOJOY but they shut down the US server and only have the Chinese server but I can't read Chinese so it's basically unplayable. Is there any similar game like it? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Oct 2018 12:58 PM PDT Hi iOSGaming, Hopefully you can help - I was on a plane trip recently and saw someone playing a game that I'd like to identify - it looked great! (Yes I should have just asked) It was an object sliding/gliding down a hill - it looked an awful lot like Tiny Wings, but the hill seemed to be a solid blue colour and the object going downhill wasn't a bird. The only other thing I noticed was that there was a lot of text in the top right corner as a new game started. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
