    So I ordered an Apple TV 4k which should arrive any day and I am going to Germany for a few months this weekend, which is where I plan on setting up my AppleTV. I wanted to use whatever Express VPN is offering for the Apple TV so that I can use the apps that are offered in the US. My iTunes is also an American account and not a German one.

    Few questions:

    1) Will it be easy to set up this VPN to my Apple TV?

    2) The VPN won't affect the internet on my other devices(for which I don't want a VPN used on), correct?

    3) Will I be able to switch the VPN on/off easily? I want to use almost exclusively what is offered on the US Apple TV, but every Sunday I would like to use the European NFL Gamepass.

    Fix CEC behavior with Philips TV?

    My Philips 32PUS6262 isn't playing nice with my aTV4 using CEC. I have enabled CEC on both ends (Philips calls it EasyLink).

    The TV turns on when I turn on the aTV, but when I turn off the aTV, the TV turns off, but then the aTV switches ON again, while the TV stays off. I can't control the volume except through IR, even though the aTV seems to think it should work over CEC.

    I don't use the TV for anything else, so I'd really like to get rid of its IR remote and do everything through the aTV. Is there any way to fix this behavior?

    IPTV app that does frame rate adjust?

    Not sure if this exists, but just wondering if one does it. Currently use iplaytv but it doesn't do it.

    cut the cord, bought a new Apple TV 4k (32gb), cannot get Dolby Vision on LG OLED B7

    i've tried reseting the ATV, did all the updates to tvOS, etc, and I cannot get Dolby Vision to play on my LG OLED tv from this thing for the life of me :(
     
    I play Netflix thru the TV's native app, and Dolby Vision shows up fine, but thru the netflix app on the apple tv, it only shows "HDR" even though the same show is rated dolby vision.   My HDMI cables are 18GB data throughput, which should be more than plenty to support this.
      Any ideas?

    NBA League Pass Problem

    I'm on Apple TV 4, last night I made a subscription for the new nba season, but now I got a problem on my Apple TV, that I can only access the home and away feeds for games:

    No tnt or espn or even mobile view is available.

    Does anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix this ?

    Apple TV screensaver (4K, SDR, LG Oled TV) - tinted menu

    Is it normal that after turning off the intensely colored screensaver, the background of the menu will become a little tinted - in this case greenish. Thanks.

    Jesus of Nazareth on iTunes or DVD Question

    I'm interested in purchasing this but i'm wondering if i should buy it on DVD vs iTunes because it is 6 hours long. I've seen this "movie" delivered as a mini series in 4 episodes. But it doesn't come up in itunes TV section only in itunes movie. My concern is that i've never seen chapters on a itunes movie purchase like i would on my physical DVDs. So I'm not going to watch all 6 hours in one go, so will it be like i have to pause it and remember my time and fast forward to that part when i want to continue watch each time? Or has anyone purchased this or any other extremely long movie and can share how itunes handles it?

    Does The Netflix App Support ATMOS On The AppleTV 4K In Finland?

    Just got the AppleTV 4K and it's updated to TVOS 12 for ATMOS sound. However, my Netflix App only shows 5.1 audio. All other devices (4K player, XBONEX) have ATMOS working properly. Thanks in advance!
