Need help redownloading imovie Posted: 02 May 2018 06:45 PM PDT http://imgur.com/npJ9o8D I'm on my iPhone 6 with about a gig and a half free. I'm trying to reinstall iMovie and it is acting as if it is already installed when I'm in the App Store but the icon looks like it does in the picture and won't run because it's not installed. I've tried uninstalling it in my settings and offloading yet and neither of those do anything. I have logged in and out of the App Store reset my phone I'm not sure what else to do. What do I have to do to get iMovie back on my phone? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 May 2018 01:10 PM PDT Just looking to gain info on common issues, tips, tricks, fixes, and ways to diagnose a problem when an iPhone bends. Currently dealing with an unresponsive 6s+ with a small bend (seen worse that worked) and would like to know the possibilities of what can cause complete failure and basic spots to look for damages. Thank you [link] [comments] |
iPhone 6s water damaged question.. Posted: 02 May 2018 09:08 AM PDT My iPhone 6s was water damaged a while back.. I've kept it around, just hoping it would randomly start back working, but it's not going to.. the screen stays black.. If I sell it as a water damaged / broke iPhone, is there a way the new owner can fix it and gain access to all of the stuff I have on the phone? The phone has a passcode on it. There are no nude pics or anything really embarrassing like that on the phone, but I just don't want them having access to my email and contacts. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 7 - stuck at the start display (forcing restart/restoring it doesn't help) Posted: 02 May 2018 12:31 PM PDT I have an iPhone 7, bought in january '17. It's been working fine until a couple of weeks ago when it shut down. I can charge it and turn it on but it gets stuck where it shows the white display with the black apple icon. I have forced a restart and restoring it, connected to iTunes and all that which had it turn on again but then shut down when installing the software. I can still turn it on and it reacts when I charge it. However, I never reach the home display. When it is turned on, showing the white start display with the black apple icon it seems as if it continues to restart itself; the display flashes and the phone becomes rather hot. I have a minor crack in the glass which runs across the display, but it's been there for 6 months and hasn't affected the phone at all. Don't know if it can have anything to do with the issue I'm having now... I have been in contact with Apple's customer care but they can't help without me having to pay for sending it on repair. Any ideas what is wrong with it? Or if the problem could be caused by the (old) crack in the display - if not, I would probably be able to return it to the reseller. Sorry if this is difficult comprehend, English is not my first language. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 May 2018 11:59 AM PDT Recently got the phone and originally it just needed the screen replaced, and I'm starting to think it's more than a simple screen replacement. I've plugged it in for about 45 minutes now and still nothing. I haven't checked the charger port for lint yet and I know the charger is fine. There's a slight bend in the phone itself but not bad. I took the screen off to make sure the logic board wasn't effected and it don't look harmed. Just leaves me to question if the impact that bent the phone could've possibly messed up something internally. Most screens that need replaced are cracked or destroyed and this one looks good but without any type of power I can't tell. If anyone has anything I could try or look into that would be nice. This has been happening for three days. I've tried putting it in recovery or dfu mode so I can connect it to itunes and it wouldnt even do that I'm not one to make threads like this usally I fix these issues myself but I couldn't find any other information online about this issue [link] [comments] |
