I don't want anything monthly. I just want a way to pay a fee a get a set amount of data whenever I need it. Are there any internet providers that offer anything like this? Thanks.

How likely is a new iPad next month?

I saw this really good deal of an iPad 9.7 (2017), but then I also read that it's possible Apple would be launching an even cheaper refreshed iPad next month. So it's not like I really need a new iPad now but I also don't want to waste a month or so waiting for something that's not even coming (my Samsung tablet can get unbearable most of the time). Thanks!

What’s the best strategy for having relatively new iPads?

Current strategy: Bought iPad 2 when it first came out and used it until practically unusable. Saved up over $1000 and bought iPad Pro 9.7 when it first came out.

IPad Pro is great and will meet my needs for a long time but wonder if there is a better strategy of trading or selling while it still has any market value so I'm not having to come up with $1000+ to upgrade down the road.

App to translate words without having to copy and paste?

I am looking for an app that can translate words or sentences within whatever I am reading. If it exists, something like the Google Translate extension for Chrome where I can highlight something and have the translation pop up.

I know that I can copy and paste words to a translation app, and have it sharing the screen with whatever I am reading, but it would be great to have something that a lot faster and smoother than that.

iPad app for designing vector pages

I love the Paper app by 53 and want to create my own page layouts for notebooks in the app. It uses images that can be placed over the background.

So I'm looking for a vector/illustrator app that will allow me to create page layouts (think boxes, LOTS of lines at equal spacing, etc) relatively easily.

Are there any you would recommend?

Should I get an iPad Pro for drawing?

I've been reading up and watching review videos comparing a variety of drawing tablets, and I'm currently leaning heavily toward the Surface Pro 2017 over the iPad Pro (mostly due to the Surface being a PC vs. an iOS device).

However, one thing that does bother me is that the Apple Pencil seems to be a significantly better drawing tool than the Surface Pen. It seems to have basically no lag, and I haven't seen complaints about angled line jitter, like I have with the Surface Pen.

But I'm not sure if that's enough to make me decide on an iPad Pro over a Surface. Do you guys have any advice to help me make the decision?
