[Feature] New Apple Music splash screen highlighting the upcoming music video features Posted: 22 Feb 2018 05:05 PM PST On my iPhone X running iOS 11.3 beta 3, a new splash screen just showed up after launching the Music app, showcasing the new music video features about to come in iOS 11.3 (which, however, are not available yet). It says: New on Apple Music

[Question] is Hey Siri’s voice recognition getting worse? Posted: 22 Feb 2018 09:54 PM PST I've noticed over the last few months that many more things other than my voice activate Hey Siri. I've had multiple coworkers activate it on my phone and both MKBHD and Detroit Borg's video reviews activate it on my devices almost every time they say the phrase. Not sure it's related but with the HomePod allowing anyone's voice to activate it I wonder if they've lessened the tolerance across the board. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Feb 2018 09:16 AM PST The Bluetooth has been pretty shitty for me. There have been a lot of connection issues with both my wireless headphones and Apple CarPlay. How is the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for you guys? [link] [comments]
[Bugs] Problems with Beta 3 and Airpods? Posted: 23 Feb 2018 01:18 AM PST Anyone has problem with Airpods and the latest beta? Airpods connects to my device but the normal bluetooth icon doesn't commute to the "headphone icon" like they did with the last stable release (11.2.6). Also in Spotify at the bottom of the page it doesn't show "xxxx's Airpods" but "Available Devices". I don't know if it's a beta change or a bug. iPhone SE [link] [comments]

[Discussion] battery life impact on 11.3 beta 3 Posted: 23 Feb 2018 05:42 AM PST On my 6S I notice that battery life appears to be significantly less on b3. On b2 I got like 8 hours usage / 19 he standby But now on b3 it's about 5 hr usage / 19 hr standby Anyone else noticed decreased battery life on latest public b3 build? [link] [comments]
[question] is this a keyboard bug or has this been out for a while? Posted: 22 Feb 2018 04:08 PM PST I was using a public transport app for the city I live in when all of a sudden this keyboard style popped up? (Check the link below, I'm kinda new and don't know how to post an image properly) I've never seen this in any other app. I wish Apple would implement this as a feature in a next release 😩. [Bug] iPhone X respringing when swiping on home bar in any direction whatsoever. Posted: 22 Feb 2018 12:36 PM PST iOS 11.3 Public beta 3 TL;DR summary at bottom. Earlier today, I encountered a huge bug with my iPhone X. Basically, if I swiped along the home bar in any direction, the phone would instantly respring. I was concerned and kept trying everything. I tried to shut it down normally, but it resprung as soon as the menu came up. I tried again, same thing happened. Then, I tried a force restart. As soon as I started holding the button down, it resprung, and I let go. Then I decided to force restart again, but this time I wouldn't let go when it resprung, because it took maybe 3 seconds to do so and 10 seconds to fully shut down. It powered down, then back up again. Still was respringing. Tried force restarting again. Still, no solution. Then I remembered Assistive Touch. I enabled that and set it to one touch to open Multitasking. When I pressed it, it resprung. Then I tried setting it to go home with one press. That seemed to work. I could go home. I then set the double tap to Multitasking. When I double tapped, it resprung. Home still worked, though. I then figured it must be some app or something that had another version of the Telugu crash. I checked my Messages app, and everything was fine. I then wondered what would happen if I tried swiping on the home bar in landscape. I opened the Photos app, and tried it. It worked! I tried again in portrait, and I was able to access Multitasking and was able to go home normally. However, when I swiped to see what apps I had open, the phone did another respring. It kept doing it when I got to the same spot in Multitasking. I eventually just tried closing all of the apps really fast, and that worked. I then thought about the whole thing. It seemed to be a problem with Multitasking. Maybe it wasn't the landscape trick that fixed it, but that I had opened another app and pushed another out of sight. Maybe there's another Telugu symbol out there. TL;DR: Swiping on the home bar caused phone to respring. Rebooting didn't help. Assistive Touch gestures worked to go home but the phone resprung when trying to activate Multitasking. Tried swiping up to go home in landscape app, and that fixed it. Multitasking still resprung the phone if I swiped too far into open apps. I closed all apps really fast and everything was fine. I then decided that maybe it wasn't landscape that fixed it, but I just pushed another app out of sight. I then wondered if there's another Telugu-like crashy symbol out there. [link] [comments] |
